Some good work buddy, shame about the sacking but 9 times out of 10 these things come back to bite them in the arse

A new year and a similar story to the end of the last one. Go 1-0 down and needed 2 goals in injury time to secure the points.

My first choice goalkeeper has decided to move on to a £140 pay as you play deal. I feel like the short term appeal of money is getting the better of some players as next season we are on course to play at that level. Still I'd rather have players committed to the cause.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6ipmaNHKHPkOGEPHiLumNH3Cv6QYLTysoTftnUGG.jpg

Dominated the game, only negative I have to take away is we never kept the clean sheet.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/RQ3IyKRQBSa2GSRlYgyjlL6o7I2toBUuk7GZVR0W.jpg

After 19 games we have already beat the record points total for a season. Still another 15 games to go so will be interesting to see how far we can set the bar.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/VX1HHfpw11y3SoPZmCNGphO5FHhHJN99X8DJvHT8.jpg

And it happens again. One of the better players and an average rating of 7.78 has decided to go to a pay as you play deal.

First league loss as FC Andorra boss against a team that went from 3rd to 2nd on that result. We didn't play well at all, had much less of the ball and they took their chances. Don't want to dwell on it too long and now it is all about the response.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Vaj1zF89dqPa3PKXI2OjeWVWaxIL2YVr8x2U96Jr.jpg

19 and out.

What a response with a 9-0 thrashing. Yes, they were 16th in the table but can only play what is in front of you. Hattrick for Bakka and a Texas hattrick for Alex Valino

Bakka with another brace wraps up the 3 points. I'm shocked that he is not playing at a higher level or even has any interest but hey other clubs loss is my gain. Edu Peppe who has just come back from suspension for being sent off..... goes and gets his self sent off again. A fine would of been issued if he wasn't on an amateur deal.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/41evTa34a3cOCmc24aACHfRFWaNFVWyIcz3a0iBo.jpg

And fresh off his third red card of the season, Edu Peppe has decided to move on and is managing to earn £400 a week. With his disciplinary record I'm happy to see the back of him however after only 5 months in charge I have lost my 2 best players based on ability and was powerless to stop it. Turning semi-pro is needed badly in the near future.

Easy 3-0 win with the points wrapped up by the 48th minute.

Bad start but made our shot advantage count in the end. Slightly worried about lack of possession but 3 points are 3 points.

Extended our gap to 6 points at the half way stage

A comfortable victory at home sends us to the top of the table and keeps the momentum going in the weeks leading up to our clash with Rapitenca

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/2JJu48SrbiOu6mq8QXFrmVIigdyzSf8WmXTBvW49.jpg

Second red card of the season for Edu Peppe. The lack of discipline from him is shocking and it is hard to believe he is playing in an attacking role. Lucky he hasn't cost his team today. Bakka with the 'Get out of jail free' card

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TNxCOEtQ6fwOhWth39QxN0waKl7CJHB8W9YTLr1Y.jpg

Fortunate? Lucky? I really don't care which it is, all I'm bother about is we beat Rapitenca away from home in what could be the title deciding game. Bakka doing the business again with a brace.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/KWyJdIe4GBIcpbw9cSzec2cYjr3QFmR1moBpGjeD.jpg

Opened up a 4 point gap at the top. Still a long way to go however with 40 points from 42 it won't be long before the dream becomes a reality at this rate,

Momentum is building, confidence is flying and back down to earth going 2-0 down inside 16 minutes. A reality check, a shock, a bad start, whichever one of the three it is the boys reacted in style going in 4-2 up at half time. All one way traffic really in the second half and after a ropey start it was a comfortable win.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/lcXhMBf7tt7UDpwG439dmDCxZYwpGFRN50lqDcaK.jpg

This team and 2 goals difference I don't know what it is. From 2 goals down in previous game now to 2-0 ahead and throwing it away. 10 men did not help the situation but at home we should still be closing out a 2 goal lead. 2 points dropped but it is still all in our own hands.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hmguu2Ffldc5xx8ygvYUKkZRHrMqRYK6jCkpfRYj.jpg

Not the great performance, a ground out 2-1 win away, I'll take that but improvements can be made.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ySszpuiIyHcrB3P9XZ0c65zyBA6gNFaGHmMauuES.jpg

Another ground out win and although I'm not a fan of games like that, it is results like that which count the most at the end of the season.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/kjL2w95iX3fBPTOSIt7eAZZcrp7W7PpXRlJ9rRgL.jpg

That's more like it, showing what we are truly capable of. I would say new signing Bakka is justifying his wages with performances like that but like the rest of the squad, he is on a flat rate of nothing per game.

https://i.imgur.com/aNDE07U.jpg

Looked like for long periods it was going to end up being a draw here so I'm delighted for 2 goals in the last 20 minutes to wrap up the points.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/BQzZiYvJ8OQiVg3CnZN3cHnWjUyhXPDUk05b1RZq.jpg

Another good month with 16 points taken from a possible 18. The gap is down to 2 points with the top 3 starting to pull away from the chasing pack.

Back to league action and that makes it 2 wins from 2, having to play catch up because of the cup but I'm confident it won't be too much of a hindrance. Nice debut from Bakka, shame about the penalty miss but contributed nicely with 2 assists.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/dmLJ2fHYAfk2JZWu0safdMhr5WnyUrmQ7BNapaDd.jpg

A game of two halves. Bore 0-0 first half 4 goals second half. Momentum is coming together nicely after the Barca B defeat.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/0LMWML6Sp8XZ54XzcuNIb4OgBb8n1xWpmdWpLjNy.jpg

A new month and the same result, another 3 points. Score and stats don't tell the story, looks like a comfortable win but was anything but. Nice to come away with another victory to make it 4 from 4.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/AEFnGMQlh6OZWuYoS297p5J4ScIq6MINUtNEwzzA.jpg

Just the one defeat so far against a 2nd tier side, Didn't expect to have such a good start but it is all about keeping it going.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/WksycKIwfHfjwch1DCfgkJBTV2SXkSD8Ozd4GeAi.jpg

Sitting in a good position, next few games will be interesting with my Andorran international representing country rather than the club. U.E. Rapitenca look to be the ones to watch so far but being so early on in the season it can all change quite quickly

Just as things started to come together a massive blow happens to disrupt things. One of my stars and most experienced players, Josep Manel Ayala have decided to move on to Llanes in the Tercera Division. I was powerless to do anything other than offer him another amateur contract against a semi-pro deal which is on a pay as play basis in the league above. As a club, we cannot dwell on the past and can only look to the future moving forward and Ayala's departure leaves a hole to be filled and an opportunity for someone to seize.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/8063LPZeXmDMbqpwXHTdBvq0NZuHGayGlAlpReYm.jpg

The big boys came to town and left with a deserved victory. At half time it was 10 attempts to 0 in favour of the visitors. On the scope of things, it was an amateur side at home to a professional outfit and although they are a B team, they are still in Liga 123 one below La Liga and have future stars like Carles Alena playing for them. This was my first defeat as FC Andorra boss but the lads have done themselves, club and country proud by limiting Barca B to 1-3. The cup was a decent chance of some silverware this season but now it leaves us to focus on the league building the club up.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/2RTqZmENeXHz8Ipceb2Xrijx66Gkn9IKBjm4oD3M.jpg

A strange combo, a player who is a Ugandan international with Swedish citizenship playing in Andorra. By international standards, he doesn't seem like much but his a four star ability rating I am hoping he can bag some goals which will help our title challenge. Just as I gained the striker the side needed I lost an influential defender. Can't have it all my own way but losing a 37 year old to gain a 24 year old looks like it could be a good move in the long run.

First league game of the season and couldn't ask for a better start. Disappointed to lose the clean sheet to an own goal but overall happy with the result.

Catalan Amateur Cup, we are supposed to be one of the favourites to win it and yet struggled to come through our first game. After 22 minutes in and 3-0 I thought this would this was sailing, I couldn't have been more wrong. Scraped through with a stoppage-time win. Happy with first 22 minutes display, the rest I'd rather move on.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/i9C1euWiwQkwknXDKVxszN7mnAE1lX4AdlO2kBXO.jpg

And move onto a penalties win. Need an 87th minute equaliser just to get into extra time. Edu Pepe made it a nervous 30 minutes extra but happy to survive my first shootout. Things can't get much worse in the cup other than getting knocked out.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4al7qcquGZ4sdHUCX32jAiXfhf223wPqVOvPvC6T.jpg

Finally, we actually show what we are capable of in the cup. Yes it is against a B team but can only play what is in front of you. Roll on the quarter finals.

Very nice and pretty tough! All the best with this

Cheers buddy. Im finding keeping a hold of my best players the issue due to amateur status. Already had clubs offering Edu Peppe a part-time contract and I'm powerless to stop it Hoping to go semi-pro next season to stop this issue.

I'll definitely be following. Do you know of a DB for FM17 so I can give this a go?

The database I'm using for this I found through the steam workshop. There is a database on the FM17 workshop that goes down to Tercera level only which is one above what you need. Could go on holiday for a season, save it start June and keep reloading until FC Andorra get promoted and take them over that way. The only feasible suggestion I have I'm afraid.

After taking care of the staffing issues, I can eventually see what kind of squad I have.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/nzRn49fnHOqzKk81PwkpE2RSulukhl7js9p4impY.jpg

The board are expecting promotion to the Tereca Division. Champions automatically go up at this level of Spanish football whilst second go into the playoffs. Two key players stand out to any chance of promotion this season. Josep Manel Ayala and Edu Peppe. For any chance to progress this club in the long term, turning semi-pro as soon as possible is a major factor. I can see a big challenge early on keeping ahold of players who have been offered a contract by semi-pro clubs.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/yLLHhseG0pQd4rSAXN0JZWlQBttjHzfZIwMYRSm6.jpg

A stand out player at this level, Ayala's experience will be highly valued to keep the defence together. At 37 he has been around for a long time and I'm hoping he will lend a hand to help the younger players in the squad. On the flip side I can't see him playing for many more years.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/1POa6ZBvwI3XJx8kpABXEMwzbP74ZsOOM7dzsALY.jpg

Seen by most at the club as the star of the team, all eyes will be on Peppe as the creative force of the team. At 34 he has been around for a long time but can still play for the foreseeable future.

Started the game with Spanish Leagues down to tier 6 and Andorra down to tier 2 which is needed to manage the Andorran national team

Hired on an amateur contract, the only other staff is the chairman and a stadium which the club own but share with half the Andorran League teams.

About Me

I have been a big fan of the FM series since the start and I have played the game on a regular basis since 2005. Over the years, I have managed in many different countries and often racking up a ridiculous amount of hours of play time. Overall my years of playing, I have never thought of sharing my game with others. I have completed the Great San Marino Challenge on FM15, I have taken my local team Blyth Spartans to the Premier League and returned BFC Dynamo to their East German glory days both on FM18 to name a few of my greatest achievements. However for something to share I wanted to have something unique which is where Andorra comes into it.

Sit Rep

FC Andorra is an amateur team currently plying their trade in 5th tier of Spanish Football in Primera Catalana (Group 2). The national team are ranked a merely 202nd in the world. The hopes of a nation rest in the hands of a club not playing in their homeland. The Primera Diviso D'Andorra is ranked 189th in Europe on par with the Gibraltan 2nd Divison and the German 6th Tier. Andorra naturalisation is impossible as it takes 20 years and one of the top clubs only produces Portuguese players.

Looking forward to getting stuck in
