Bulgarian "A" Group
Ludogorets won the league title ( retain ) and now they have 7 league titles. ( Levski Sofia 27 titles ) ( CSKA Sofia 31 titles ) Ludogorets have a long way to go but the team is playing the best football in Bulgaria right now and surely can win even more titles than Levski and CSKA Sofia.Jose Alvaro was delighted with the way the team played the whole season and with the league title. ( another league title ) the chairman was also pleased and said that Ludogorets won't stop playing and winning titles !
Bulgarian Cup
Ludogorets won the league title but lost the Bulgarian Cup Final again.Ludogorets last won the Bulgarian Cup in the first season of Jose Alvaro on the final against Botev Plovdiv,since then Ludogorets lost against Litex on a Semi-final,then lost a final against Pirin Blagoevgrad and this year again lost the final against Litex with 2:1.Litex played better and deserved the victory and the cup.Ludogorets scored 1 goal in the second half but that wasn't enough for "ORLITE" to win the cup so " next year Ludogorets will win the cup " Jose Alvaro is saying that after every lost Bulgarian Cup final but still Ludogorets can't win the cup even that they are reaching the final every season.
NEWS
Tottenham won the UEFA Champions League after beating Real Madrid on the final.
Finally.Ludogorets Arena is now owned by the club.
Season Review and Awards
We finished our 4th season and we won the league title again ( we are the champions of Bulgaria again ) for me it's more important than winning that so much desired Bulgarian Cup.The team will be playing in the UEFA Champions League again next season and this time like for real this time we will try to do something in the UEFA Champions League ! #WeAreLudogorets !

Ludogorets have 6 games to win the league title after losing the first place in the last games.Ludogorets lost against Montana,Litex and Botev Plovdiv and Levski got the first place after those mistakes from the "ORLITE" .Ludogorets will try to win those 6 games and the league title in the next weeks so the Bulgarian League will be really interesting.
Bulgarian Cup
Ludogorets reached the final of the Bulgarian Cup for a 2nd time in a row and will try to win in this time after the fail against Pirin last season.Ludogorets eliminated Dobrudzha and Lokomotiv Mezdra in the way to the final and will face Litex for the cup.

Ludogorets finished the training camp at Turkey ( Belek ) The team faced 6 teams there and won 4 games and lost 2 ( against Dinamo Zagreb and Rijeka ) The team was at the camp with the full squad and Jose Alvaro played every game with different squad.The chairman of the club gave an interview and said that he is happy how the team is playing and that the team must win the league again this season.Marcelinho also was interviewed and he commented the situation and said that the players are happy and that they are playing really well.The goal is the league title and the Bulgarian Cup so they can play in UEFA tournaments again next year ( UEFA Champions League ).
Winter Transfer Window
Kolbein is leaving Ludogorets Razgrad after 2 year in the club.The national player of Iceland signed a contract with Lech after being unhappy at Bulgaria.He decided to leave the champions and to join the club from Poland.Good luck to Kolbein and the club thanks for those great goals that he scored for Ludogorets.

Ludogorets will start the second half of the season as " the winter champions " after finishing first before the break.From 9 games Ludogorets won only 3 lost 3 and got 3 draws.The defeats were really really interesting because Ludogorets lost to the newly promoted Lokomotiv Mezdra ( 10th place ) to the surprise team Montana ( 6th ) and to Botev Plovdiv ( 8th ) Ludogorets will play some friendly games at the camp in Turkey and will be ready for the first game from the second half of the season against Levski Sofia.
UEFA Champions League
That was the worst UEFA Champions League campaign for us.Six games and six defeats.The group was really tough but we scored goals in 5 games and the results were close.Ludogorets was just unlucky in that group and will leave the tournament with 0 points after the group stage.
Bulgarian Cup
Ludogorets eliminated Levski Sofia again this year after extra-time with 2:1.Ludogorets was so close to eliminate Levski in the full time but Levski managed to score before the end and the fans were ready for another 30 minutes of football at Georgi Asparuhov.Ludogorets was the better team and they scored in the extra time for the final 2:1.The players of Levski were really exhausted and they didn't showed nothing in the 30 minutes.Ludogorets will face Dobrudzha in the Quarter-Finals.

"A" Group
Ludogorets is back ? The team got 7 victories from the first ten games.Finished draw only with newly promoted Loko Mezdra,Slavia Sofia and Cherno More.Jose Alvaro said that that run is important for them and that the team must be focused in every game till the end of the season and then again ! Ludogorets are at the top with 24 points in the 2nd place is Levski and in the 3rd the surprise of the season Montana ( avoided relegation last season after play-off's ).Can Ludogorets hold the lead till the end ?
UEFA Champions League
Ludogorets will play for the 3rd time in the UEFA Champions League Group Stage.The team eliminated Dinamo Tbilisi,Levadia and NK Maribor in the play-off's.Ludogorets got the first leg against Maribor with 5:0 and then lost the 2nd leg ( Ludogorets played with the reserves) When Jose Alvaro was asked why he played the reserves in the 2nd leg against Maribor he answered that Ludogorets are not playing only in the Champions League,they have a title to defend and a Bulgarian Cup to win.
SuperCup
Ludogorets lost the SuperCup game against Litex on penalties.This was the first trophy for the season and Ludogorets lost it on penalties after missing 3 of them.
Ludogorets will face AGAIN Levski Sofia in the next round of the Bulgarian Cup after eliminating Botev Vratsa with 6:0 away from home.This is the 3rd time when Ludogorets face Levski in the Bulgarian Cup after eliminating them 2 times.That means that Levski are not that much of a problem for Ludogorets in the Bulgarian Cup but ...the team was eliminated from Litex in the semi-final last season ( pls don't give us Litex next

Pre-Season
After that pre-season games the team is ready for the challenge called UEFA Champions League.The team got 3 victories from 3 games scoring 11 goals and conceded only 2.Jose Alvaro comments were that the team is looking really strong and this season will be the best for them.Also he said that the fans can expect soon the new players he gave a hint and said that the one of them is from the "A" Group and the other is from a big club from Serbia.
UEFA Champions League
Ludogorets will play again in the play-offs after eliminating Dinamo Tbilisi and the estonian Levadia on the way to the group stages.Without problems Ludogorets reached the play-offs again and the club believe that they can play for the 3rd time in the UCL Group Stages.
In the play-offs Ludogorets will face NK Maribor and the first game will be at Ludogorets Arena.The manager of NK Maribor commented the draw and said that Ludogorets are a class team and that they were one of the best teams in the draw so they must work hard.He also praised the striker of "Orlite" Claudio Keseru and said that they will try to get him.Jose Alvaro also said that Maribor are a good side but that he believes is not that difficult to get to the group stages. The fans wrote that Ludogorets Arena will be full for that game !
From the next season the champion of Bulgaria will play directly in the Group Stages of the Champions League which will motivate a lot of the teams in the "A" Group and the next season will be really really interesting.
Summer Transfer Window
The only sad OUT transfer was Moti leaving Ludogorets.The legend of the Ludogorets was sold to Karpaty ( we bought Plastun from Karpaty ) where he will continue his career as a professional footballer.Moti was at Ludogorets since 2012 and he became a legend of the club after helping a lot to the club.
He qualified Ludogorets for the first time in UCL after saving two penalties when he got the gloves from Vladislav Stoyanov ( sent-off against Steaua ) He saved 2 penalties against his friends from the National Team Of Romania and qualified the club.
He also got a tribune on his name " Tribuna Moti " at Ludogorets Arena ( for qualifiyng the team to the UCL for the first time )
So we wish the best to Cosmin Moti at his new club and new successes in the Ukrainian League.

The new players were finally revealed to the fans and they were really happy.Ludogorets signed with one of the best players of Levski Sofia - Roman Prochazka for 2.1M and the player was welcomed to the club as the new central midfielder.Jose Alvaro said that he will be one of the main players this season. ( That means that Andrei Prepelita or Lucas Sasha will leave if Prochazka gets the place in the first team.)
The other player is from Serbia and he is one of the best players of the Serbian Grand Crvena Zvezda ( or Red Star ) Aleksandar Katai was a really good transfer really class player and only for 875K.Ludogorets chairaman was really pleased with then new signings but the fans were crazy to watch them in action in the "A" Group and hopefully in the UEFA Champions League.

After disappointing last season when Ludogorets lost everything this season the team won the league again after a really difficult battle with Levski Sofia whole season.Ludogorets played really really good in the last 16 games and won 13 games and lost 1 and got only 1 draw.After beating Levski Sofia at Ludogorets Arena with 2:1 Ludogorets was really close to the title.Victories in against Litex,Montana and Cherno More secured the league title and Ludogorets are again the champions of Bulgaria and they will play in the Champions League qualification rounds.

@Suffolk Seasider Yeah....we won against every team at home but ... in the away games we were so bad and that was deserved.
What a performance from Ludogorets in the last 9 games.The team won 8 and finished only 1:1 with Levski Sofia.With that run Ludogorets is only 2 points behind Levski and the battle for the league title will be really interesting in the last 6 games for the season.Jose Alvaro believes that the team can win the title if they win atleast 4 games from 6.Also the team will sell some of their players again in the end of the season even if they win/lose the league title.
Bulgarian Cup
Ludogorets is out from the Bulgarian Cup in the semi-finals after losing with 1:4 on aggregate against Litex.This is bad but also can help to Ludogorets to win the only thing left ( the league title ) Jose Alvaro apologized to the fans and he promised that the team will win everything in Bulgaria in the next season.Litex will face Slavia Sofia in the final.Last season the Pirin Blagoevgrad won the Bulgarian Cup but they were eliminated in the first round this season.

Finishing in the 2nd place before the break Ludogorets played some really interesting friendly games at their training camp.Like every year Ludogorets arrange training camps ( in the summer in Austria and in the winter in Turkey ) so in Turkey we played with Levski Sofia and got only draw ( again ) then another disappointing result against Trnava...so in the short way we got 3 draws 3 victories ( 2 victories against the most stronger teams in our friendly games ) and only 1 surprising defeat against ACS Poli.
Winter Transfers
Ludogorets signed with another striker.It was a really good deal with Levante for their twenty-six year-old striker Deyverson.Jose Alvaro is said that Deyverson will 100 % help to the problems of the team to score goals in the important games this season.Deyverson is a strong striker and can play really well with head.
After signing with Deyverson he became the 6th brazilian in the team after Jonathan Cafu,Natanael Pimenta ,the star Marcelinho,Lucas Sasha and Wanderson.

Ludogorets played 20 games in the league and right now they are in the 2nd place 7 points behind the "champions" Levski Sofia.Ludogorets won 6 games from 10 lost 2 and got 2 draws against Levski and Montana ( disappointing ).So before the last 16 games Ludogorets still have a big chance to win the league title ( and became again CHAMPIONS ).The team is playing better and better in every game...and soon the old Ludogorets can be reborn and then there won't be anything to stop them.
Again referees are the main focus.Another red card for a foul that deserves yellow card......
Bulgarian Cup
Ludogorets is having really easy games in this season Bulgarian Cup.After eliminating Minyor Pernik and PFC Dobrudzha Dobrich the team will play with Nesebar in the Quarter-Finals of the tournament.Nesebar are in the "B" Group and in the way to the Quarter-Finals they eliminated Levski Sofia so Ludogorets must be focused and at their best against them.
UEFA Europa League
Sad but fact...Ludogorets is out from the Europa League in the group stages.This is happening for the first time ( Ludogorets eliminated in the group stage ) This is the 3rd time for Ludogorets in the Europa League and for the first time they are out in the Group Stages....The best performance was reaching the Second Knockout Round ( 2 times ) but this season Ludogorets is out early from the tournament.After dramatic defeat in the last game against Dnipro ( again Dnipro eliminate us ) and victory for Augsburg against Slovan was enough for the german team to qualify.Ludogorets is not improving a lot in the european tournaments right now....

Ludogorets after 10 games are in the 3rd position which is BAD really bad.....the new signings were supposed to improve the game but right now everything is the same like the last half of the last season.The club must change something to get good results in the league with the class players in the team.There are still 26 games where everything can be changed but for now Ludogorets is playing really bad.
And then they said " Referees are supporting Ludogorets " 2 red cards for no reason against the "champions" Levski Sofia.....
Bulgarian Cup
Ludogorets will be playing in the next round of the tournament after a good victory against Minyor Pernik with 5:0.Cosmin Moti will miss the match after being sent-off in the last seconds of the game for stupid foul.Ludogorets will face PFC Dobrudzha Dobrich.

Ludogorets won the first Qualification Round of Europa League after 3:1 on aggregate against KF Shkendija HB 79 Tetovo.Ludogorets didn't scored a lot of goals but they still won the game after 1:0 at Ludogorets Arena and 1:2 victory away from home.The new players also made debuts for Ludogorets and showed some class that can help to Ludogorets in the season.Next opponent is the romanian AFC Botosani.
The New Players in Ludogorets !
Florin Iacob was the choice to replace Vladislav Stoyanov.The goalkeeper became one of the main targets after the fail with Denys Boyko's transfer in Ludogoerts. ( Boyko just refused to talk with Ludogorets ) Iacob is a really good goalkeeper and surely can replace Stoyanov and be a key player for the team.
Jerry Akaminko was unexpected transfer for the fans but he is a really good player/right back and it will be interesting to see if he can fight for a place in the first team with Cornel Rapa.Eskisehirspor got 2.7M for his transfer but he is a really good right back and will help to Ludogorets to win a lot of titles.
Here is our new star.Constantin Budescu will replace Marcelinho in the attacking midfielder position and for sure he will score a lot of goals and will assist a lot to his teammate from the Romania National Team Claudiu Keseru.The fans were really happy with the transfer of Budescu and they can't wait to see him in action.
After analyzing the last season games the problem was surely in the defence.For that Ludogorets bought another central defender in the face of Valerica Gaman from FC Astra.Ludogorets have right now Cosmin Moti,Kerchev and Igor Plastun in that position but for sure Gaman will be one of the first team players but is interesting who will be the 2nd choice right next to him in the games.

I've declinden everything because it wasn't just right to leave Ludogorets after one bad season ( really bad season ) so ill stay as a manager of Ludogorets Razgrad and will try to bring back the league title and every cup at Ludogorets Arena !
Summer Transfer Window
We did some really good transfers.But first let's talk about the main players that left the team after the disappointing last season.
Vladislav Stoyanov-The goalkeeper was one of the best players in the team and Ludogorets didn't wanted to sell him for nothing since last season.But this summer transfer window the club decided that it is a time for a change and Vladislav Stoyanov left the club after joining to M.Haifa for $275,000.So the team started looking for a new goalkeeper.
Georgi Terziev-The defender wasn't a first team player but was one of the best defenders in the club with Cosmin Moti and Igor Plastun.The club decided to sell him for a good price and Lens offer was a good offer for the player and for the club.So Terziev will play in the Ligue 1 from the next season after completing a transfer from Ludogorets to Lens for $750,000.
Abel Anicet-Anicet was a really good player but he wasn't playing regular football at Ludogorets so he decided to move from Bulgaria and signed with Middlesbrough for 1.2M which was a really good/overrated offer for the central midfielder.
So Ludogorets was trying to find better goalkeeper,defender and an attacking midfielder for the new season and they did it but for the new players ill talk in the next update.
Also Ludogorets will play in the Europa League like i said and this is the first time since their promotion in the "A" Group when they finished 2nd and will play in the Europa League qualifications....
The team is full with confidence for the new season and with the new players ( The New Ludogorets ) the team will try to win everything possible again !

Ludogorets lost the Bulgarian Cup final too after 2:2 in the full time the club from Razgrad conceded a goal in the last minutes of the extra time.This was really disappointing for Ludogorets and now it is sure that the most of the players will leave the club like the chairman said.
What can we expect from Ludogorets for the new season ? The team will try to win the league title like every season this is 100% sure.The club will also play in the Europa League qualification rounds and the main goal there will be reaching the group stages of the tournament.The fans are hoping to see some really good transfers and a different Ludogorets for the new season !

Ludogorets will play on the semi-finals of the Bulgarian Cup again after eliminating Cherno More in the Quarter-Finals with 4:2.In the semi-finals the champions will face the side from "B" Group Lokomotiv Plovdiv ( they were relegated last season from the "A" Group ) so the fans are expecting easy game.Jose Alvaro also commented and said that relegation of Lokomotiv Plovdiv doesn't mean anything and they can still be a problem for Ludogorets.The first game is at Ludogorets Arena and the the 2nd will be a week later at Gradski Stadion Lokomotiv.

Denys Boyko commented the rumours for the transfer from Besiktas JK to Ludogorets and said that he will play in Besiktas JK till the end of the season and then he will see what will happen.Also Ludogorets tried with an offer for Boyko of 3 million but Besiktas JK refused and they said that they want atleast 6 million euro for Boyko.With that Ludogorets will try for another goalkeeper as Boyko will remain player of Besiktas until the end of the season.

After selling Milan Borjan to Beroe Ludogorets signed with Mario Kirev the goalkeeper of Slavia Sofia.Jose Alvaro commented the transfer and said that he can replace Milan Borjan as a 2nd goalkeeper but must work hard to replace the 1st goalkeeper Vladislav Stoyanov.As for Boyko Jose Alvaro said that right now the club will focus on Mario Kirev and his progress but that Denys Boyko is still their main transfer target maybe for the summer.
Ludogorets signed with Cornel Rapa from Steaua and became the 3rd player signing for Ludogorets from Steaua after Claudiu Keseru and Andrej Prepelita.The right/wing back will replace Cicinho and the chairman believes that he can even do better from Cicinho for Ludogorets.The fans are also happy for that transfer and they can't wait to see Rapa in action.Jose Alvaro said that this is a really good transfer and if Ludogorets make transfers like this every year the club can achieve a lot in Bulgaria and in the european tournaments.For Rapa the manager said that he is pleased with the transfer and with the way he is training.Jose Alvaro also said that he will help a lot to the club and that he hopes to be a long and successful career here at Ludogorets
