I'm sure one of our travel writers will be back with the answer shortly.

Yeah, we don't have those.

Look at captain smartypants over there!

I'm sure there was at least one other person going for a PhD here?

It requires hard work, application and bloody-minded perseverance more than any real intelligence to be honest.

Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after leaving.

Leicester is about ten miles from me in Ashby de la Zouch.

Eww.

I'm going to be there for at least 3 maybe 4 years, to do my PhD from October.

Ahh true. My shop's area manager has taken away our charity box. It's a local charity raising funds for kids with cancer. But apparently it discourages customers from buying things. Ugh.

Learn to abet consumption properly, peon.

In other news I'm moving to the East Midlands. Sake.

Their previous one, Dean Saunders left to join Wolves (and got them relegated), then Brian Flynn became interim manager then permanent til the end of the season. He has no stepped down to take the Director of Football job above Paul Dickov and oversee him.

Bizarre move.

They've let their first choice goalie at the age of 22 be released on a free, retaining the 43 year old Neil Sullivan and now this. Wow.

Following on from my post in the Mugshot thread about finding myself in a gay bar last night. I found out that a girl I used to fool around with a few years ago is now a lesbian. Wow what a kick to the knacker and my self esteem that was. Haha!

I've converted at least two girls to the dark-side in my fumblingly awkward innings so far.

Me and my GF went to the same uni. Then we left and we both live at home in different towns. I'm doing my Masters still. Hoping to start my PhD in September and we'll move in together (so's the plan), if not it's indefinite long distance (and thus probably break up). Shite time to be in a relationship really.

Ah yes. Import duty & tax!

It wouldn't be 60$ for a hat.

I ordered a US-only Vinyl EP the other day. It was much heavier than any hat, worth more and only cost 23$ to ship.

Just got back from NYC. Bought a book/catalogue of the classical art in the Met Museum, NY. Bought a shit load of US sweets (mostly different varieties of Skittles) and the below tee in Urban Outfitters (I could only find a pic of this twat wearing it in a small resolution).

As it's Record Store Day tomorrow I'll be abusing my debit card and buying some rare/limited vinyls. Looking out for Chvrches, Peace, Jake Bugg and Simple Minds releases among others. Anyone partaking (most cities have stores taking part)?

Imagine you've got your friends and family over for a bbq on a Sunday afternoon. The drinks are flowing and everybody is having a great time, laughter fills the air. You go to your bbq to start cooking food, lift the lid and a huntsman spider who has been taking steroids launches himself at your face like a face hugger out of Alien v Predator.... I almost died of a heart attack that day!!

I tried to go along with that, but imagination is not wild enough. I stopped at "friends".

I've just finished The Confession by John Grisham which I couldn't put down.

A church minister is approached by a newly released prisoner who confesses to the murder of a high school cheerleader nine years ago, which somebody else is scheduled to be executed in Texas for in just a few days, they must now halt the execution somehow.

The book is nothing but anti death penalty propoganda but it is incredibly tense and difficult to put down.

Not strictly a bad thing really... I think propoganda (sic.) in this case carries negative connotations that aren't justified.

Stayed in a travellodge type hotel in central Plymouth for about 30 quid when I saw Morrissey a few years ago. Just book it in advance, a hostel would be even cheaper.

Sean O'Driscoll working wonders down at Ashton Gate.

A win over Wolves on Tuesday would see us out of the relegation zone.
