Alright, so after following a few of the threads for this challenge I have decided to give it a go, even though I am already a few months behind other contestents!

History:
June 2012 - Present: Athlone Town

Aight, so I have decided to start off unemployed and here is my manager profile..



We begin our career in June of 2012, starting in Wales, awaiting to hear from a team in my hotel room.

We finally get the call from Athlone Town who play in the Airtricity First Division in Ireland! I am excited to finally get underway!



The squad only had one foriegn player, which will be let go of course

Currently the team is sitting in 4th place in the league (13 games into the season) with 21 points (5-6-2)



We have been knocked out of the FA Cup but our next match is in the EA Sports Cup, so we still have a chance of winning 2 trophies this season! Results are upcoming as the come in!

Well, needless to say my chance of winning a double faded very quickly after just one game..



That definitely wasnt the way I wanted to start my career with this team. At least now we can put all of our efforts into the league.

Alright, so my time with the club has been interesting so far. Below you will see the matches I have been in charge of and as well as how the table is looking entering August.

Things have really fallen apart for us, we have lost 5 in a row and now sit 5th in the table..something seems to be off with the squad, they just arent performing and it looks as though we will be in this league for at least another season.

August was a horrible month for us! So glad it is finally over. As we head into the final month of the seaosn we are currently sitting 4th place, right below a playoff spot. Mathmatically we can only finish 3rd through 7th at this point in the league. So my only hope of getting out of this league and securing my first trophy for the challenge would be to finish third which is definitely still possible and then win the playoff. Anyways, here is the fixtures for the month and the current table.

Alright, so the season has ended and its been unfortunately dissapointing. We ended the season horribly and ended up finishing in 6th place. Below you will see the ending table and all the games I was in charge of, which will clearly show why we ended where we did. The squad just wasnt up to the challenge I guess and fell apart at the worst time possible.





I am definitely looking forward to next season though. I've been givien a year long extension to my contract and we hope to come back stronger next year.

Hey everyone, just a quick update. I will no longer be working on this save as its just not going my way and I cant stand losing simple game like I have been. So this play through has been cancelled. I hope to start another save at some point on this challenge though because I like the challenge and think it is a lot of fun, it just wont be with this save. Thanks for the support in this short time though!
