Talk about making yourself look silly. Six (?) Spurs players standing on the 6 yard lane only for Terry to put the ball in the net on their half ass attempt of a clearance. Did they even mark anyone?

The more I watch him the more impressed I become by Zouma. Was not the best first half but seemed a natural midfielder to me in the second half.

He is no way a natural midfielder and didn't look overly comfortable, more so in the first half. If you actually watch his positioning during the game you'd see how he has a huge tendency to drop back deeper into his more familiar position. He was fairly non-existent beyond the half way line too. Hopefully he isn't asked to play the role too often. In saying that, he played well and did the job required of him, which is all that could have been asked. Let's just hope we don't have to go down this route again any time soon.

All that aside, good will from the boys without playing well. Now to push on with the league and possibly Champions League too.

He'll get exposed big time if he plays in midfield against a top team.

When we first see the line ups they showed Cahill in the midfield role so from that point of view I'm defiantly glad Zouma played there instead of him

Oh yeah defiantly. With Matic out I was hoping to see maybe Ake play at least a part there. Has not looked too bad when he has played
