What we need is the Space Jam aliens to give Rooney his ability back or, failing that, to flog him somewhere and get a replacement.

Unfortunately we made the decision that he's our main forward this year and we're going to live and die by that. We were never going to spend big money on a replacement for him.

Also, given how Falcao and Emmanuel Riviere adjusted from playing for Monaco to playing in England, I'm surprised there are BPL clubs willing to buy a CF from them.

Januzaj's going on loan to Dortmund. A good loan move for him but surely we need someone else besides Martial if both him and Hernandez are leaving.

Don't even know if thats true, suspect he's been signed to play alongside him at 10 with a view to replacing him in a few seasons. Van Gaal likes his 10s to be more athletic and run beyond the main striker which is why we used Depay there at the start of the season and why he won't use Mata there.

Januzaj leaving is a mistake. Martial might be good, but that amount of money is just ridiculous.

8 in 31 league games last year and 11 in 42 all comps I believe. We have two 19 year olds, a midfielder and fucking Rooney as our striking options now.

Depay and Mata are gonna have to play a blinder all season if we are gonna do anything this year.

He's a 19 year old who's played most of his games on the wing so far, even Ronaldo's record wasn't too dissimilar to that.

He played 4 games for Lyon and didn't score...

Martial is a good talent and will probably be a great player in the future, but why are Man Utd spending £36m on a potentially good player when they desperately need a player that can do it here and now? I think Monaco will be making a profit of over £30m if this deal goes through.

I meant youth level. 32 goals in 21 games. Cherno Samba had a good youth record too though.
