Look I'll come out and say it because no one else will: LIverpool get abuse because they're an easy target. Their fans are entitled wankers, their players are a bunch of slags and their manager looks and acts like a creepy teacher with loose hands. Try winning something, instead of feigning it, and people might give a shit about what they do on the pitch.

I'm just trying to get Carroll to understand that when someone makes a point about something it is an extremely poor counter to that point if instead of disputing the point you dispute the person.

Just replace Hitler with Liverpool and shitting the bed with Leeds and you have exactly what went on here.

It was a perfectly reasonable comment to make. You get so defensive over anything remotely anti-Liverpool.

I think it's fair really, a lot of the players on there have made little impact at first team level but have shown potential. Shelvey is vastly overrated by the media in this country but to be fair to him he's come in and scored a few goals and not really looked out of place (especially in the Europa League) so he's bound to have made an impression.
