I'll take that point- superb play after that goal; we rode our luck big time beforehand, but we need to do that. 12th place yes, but only 6 points from 6th place, and if we can keep up this 6 game run, we can near that.

Fuck off he was fine.

The only thing he got wrong was the handball decision which he couldn't actually see so therefore couldn't give it.

Apart from that the lino got one offside decision wrong, and he should have booked three quarters of your mob for dissent at various points.

Yeah, he was fine apart from a blatant penalty, ignoring diving from Tottenham players and it's probably best not to talk about the assistants.

I'll give you the dissent, though, I was surprised he didn't book more of ours.

First rule of refereeing, don't give something you can't see. It's tough, but Aguero completely blocked his view of it.

There really wasn't much diving either, playing for free kicks yes, but if your lot hadn't insisted on making ridiculous unnecessary fouls then they wouldn't have been given. The one Barry made on Lennon was indicative of it, going nowhere shitting himself about what to do and then Barry clips his ankles for no reason and gives him an excuse to go down. Fault lay with your players more than the referee. And I genuinely can remember one mistake from the assistants, but I might have forgotten.

I'm not saying he was flawless, but the barracking he got for it was really OTT.

Why didn't anyone celebrate though? You'd expect he'd get mobbed

The moment of confusion before he carries on celebrating is brilliant.

Lol, confused me massively at the time and still don't get why he was on his own now? Unless he just wheeled off so quickly nobody could be bothered chasing him? Or maybe worried the crowd might be throwing coins at them if they did?

Sorry man!

I think that despite his ridiculous ways, I might actually be starting to like him. His workrate and effort are phenomenal from the first minute to the last

This, it's easy for me to ignore the play acting and diving because I think all football players are pansies anyway and if I was a ref I'd be throwing cards around like they were candy.

I despise him as a person but admire him as a footballer. That's probably the common consensus between most people.

Also, the diagram for the penalty shoot out is wrong. All eligible players are required by law to stand within the centre circle.

I'm as a good as a League One ref apparently, which fully verifies me to abuse the League Two refs we get every Saturday.
