Some spectacularly shite defending from both sides mind. Although when I left my computer at half-time to go walk my dog, I kinda expected nothing more. Almost the reverse of the guy I saw on Twitter whose train to this game was delayed and only caught the second half

Don't get me wrong, if we turn up, I think we'll murder you. I'm just not convinced we'll turn up. We look so pedestrian at the moment, Yaya more than anybody else. That said, he does tend to knock it up a notch for the big games.

Yeah, I don't think it's quite as foregone a conclusion as that. If we avoid any ridiculous fuck ups in terms of line ups we should at least give you a game even if you're at your best.
I just have a horrible feeling that we'll play one of Scholes or Giggs because 'their experience is vital in games like these' or play Jones at AM again (saying that I don't think he'd be a terrible idea in midfield and might be able to cope with Yaya, but it's a gamble) or persist with the rank average Lindegaard or the clearly off the pace Fletcher or do something generally quite stupid which will handicap us before we even start.
I reckon something like
De Gea, Rafael, Smalling, Evans, Evra, Cleverley, Carrick, Rooney, Young (lets face it, he's not going to get dropped), RVP, Welbeck might give you a game
but I have a horrible feeling we'll go something like:
Lindegaard, Smalling, Evans, Rio, Evra, Scholes, Carrick, Fletcher, Rooney, Young, RVP with Fergie possibly with Jones for Fletcher.
