United can hardly feel harshly done by when they have had precisely the same number. Though, of course, it may be that Ferguson's words were actually intended for the referee, Martin Atkinson, more than anyone else.

I'm quiet nervous for our game tomorrow. We've look so crap in recent weeks and I'm not sure if any of our players are going to be able to spark a revival the same way van Persie did last season. If we fail to win tomorrow I'll start to think we might do a Liverpool-esque collapse from the Champions League places.

I shouldn't worry though - a 34-year-old Thierry Henry will save us all.
