Arsenal and Chelsea won?

Spurs and Liverpool lost. Every little helps

It pisses me off a bit that players spend half the game trying to cheat the referee, conning him into giving cards, diving and begging for corners and throw ins they know aren't and then on the other hand spend the other half getting outraged that the referee has got a decision wrong.
When you have a culture that encourages cheating, as it does in football, referees jobs are needlessly more difficult than they should be.
Also Martinez is a cock. Lot of respect lost for him for trying to defend McManaman.

Aye Martinez's post-match just made him look like a cunt.
In terms of the culture of cheating, it doesn't help. But it doesn't excuse anyone when a bona fide red card by anyone's standards is missed. There's an ex-ref on Sky saying the linesman is too far away to see it properly but that is fucking bollocks - he flies in and makes contact, and that is a poor challenge from the angle the camera was at. Plus it didn't stop the linesman in our game at Liverpool, who was a similar distance, flagging like mad when Coloccini went in on Suarez.

Prat.
Not having the bollocks about the ref being unsighted - the scream of pain was audible enough to be picked up by TV cameras. That should have triggered some sort of reaction itself.

There's no problem with people saying McManaman isn't usually that type of player, but to say "there was nothing wrong with it" and it was "as clean as a whistle"........yeah, that's pretty insane.

Having said that I hope we don't try and sue. I don't think it was a tackle with malicious intentions, it's part of the sport that in the heat of the moment players make silly decisions and if you want to play that's a risk you take. It'll start a precedent that could head down a slippery slope.
Though obviously if it's intentional like the Keane-Haaland incident then sue away.

Stupid moron.
Even though he has won plenty of trophies I can't help but think he never really fulfilled the immense potential he had in the early years of his career due to the amount of time he spent on the physio's table.

Shame the last 5-6 years of his career have been the way they have.

Madness. Didn't Halsey even say that he was unsighted and would have acted if he had seen it?

That is shit, the rules on retrospective punishments need to be changed

It's insanity.

bluemoon.

One of the most absurd decisions I've ever witnessed.
If Wigan stay up they have cheated their way to Premier League survival.
