Utterly appalling performance; Wigan deserve to win.

Other than that, I'm not sure where to begin with that.

I've stopped caring about Dave Whelan's broken leg now, the amount of fucking times it's been mentioned.

Was van Persie the only reason City didn't win the FA Cup either?

Should've played Pantillimon, he's taller than Hart, could've saved that header,,,

Oh, no doubt, I just wish they didn't mentioned it in every interview, they asked Ben Watson about it, asked Martinez about it, they probably asked some fans about it pre-match.

You mean this one that he claims is unjust and a tragedy?

Go on Wigan. Made up for them. No other team down the bottom would have been capable of playing as well against City as Wigan did today - especially the way they played, effortlessly keeping possession in City's half at times. Some excellent youngsters too.

Mancini sounded confident he'd still be there next season, time will tell I guess.

I don't want Wigan to go down but I'd much rather we beat them on Tuesday.

He then proceeded to have a pop at the club for not putting a stop to the rumours and making a statement denying them.

I would be shocked if he's still here in August.

Just watched the game on catch up as I had to go out, I managed to avoid hearing the score, so chuffed for Wigan.

Can Wigan still stay up if we beat them? Virtually everything I've read about Wigan is that they need 4 from 6 in their last 2 matches.

But looking at the table it seems like they might just need 3 in the event that Norwich or Newcastle lose both thie matches.

Hilarious.

My point was that City were expected to beat Wigan easily yesterday and how did that turn out for them?

No point acting like Moyes has won his first silverware already.

Possibly. I'd guess it depends on how the games today finish.

It is possible for them overhaul anyone up to 12th place Fulham, but they need six points and anyone of those teams to lose both their games to achieve that.

The more likely option is to hope one of the teams on 38/39 (that'd be Norwich, Sunderland, Southampton... and us) slips up. Hopefully that won't be us.

It's all about Norwich - West Brom today imo. If Norwich lose then Wigan only have to beat Villa to stay up, who are without Benteke (assuming Norwich don't get anything away to City next week).
