Run For Your Life is an even worse example.

Plus he left his wife and son, to go with Yoko and preach peace and love etc. Which is a right cunt move.

In fairness, Yoko was probably the best thing that happened to him in terms of her ability to control his nasty streak and the peace and love hippy stuff was his idea of contrition for being a dickhead. Still, he almost strangled his mistress to death after he met her.

He was a woman beater, to start with. 'Getting Better' is basically a song about how he beat women he was in a relationship with.

Thats just the tip of a whole iceberg of character flaws, the man was a legitimate straight up wanker.

He had genuine musical talent though.

I honestly wouldn't have a single clue who those "One Direction" types were if they didn't keep getting mentioned in YouTube comments or trend on Twitter.

Yeah, Lennon was a good musician, even if he was a cunt of a person. I'd say that these hipster-wankers who adore Lennon would be horrified if they knew what he was like as a person, but they're probably just the same.
