Skin help!

Hi guys,

Just wondering if someone could give me a pointer as to where I am going wrong. Usually I am fine at making graphics work etc but this year I can't seem to get any skins working on FM14.

I've downloaded several now, all 'dark' skins as I prefer the dark layout. Put it into the right folder 'si...fm...skins' etc but when I load the game and click preferences and then skin it only shows the default Football Manager skin.

Please help a guy in need!

Another thing to look into is that I've noticed there are 2 skins, one for the challange part and one for the main game.

I'm currently using the SI own dark skin at the minute, not really seen a decent looking dark skin about yet.

clear cache, reload skin confirmation boxed ticked and pic cache box ticked after clearing cache in prefences then go the skin menu the skins should be listed.

So i subscribed to two of the skins I want through the workshop, but dont see how I download them and now get them in the game...

On the start screen, go to downloads, then steam workshop. You should see the 2 skins you installed.

Install each one via the button when you click on them, they will now be available in game.

I could be a massive idiot, but still can't find the download button:

It's on the home screen of FM itself or on the FM dropdown menu.

Dan, whenever you subscribe to stuff from the steam workshop then you need to start up Football Manager, go to downloads on the start up screen and then you'll have two choices - store or steam workshop, click steam workshop and it should be there.

Cheers guys, found the steam workshop page via FM itself now as you said!

However mine just freezes when I click it!

Ignore that, think I've found a solution thanks guys!

What's the solution then, leave it and wait for it to respond?

It's your graphics that are your problem, re-nameyour graphics folder to something else temporarily , then try again.
