Basically I'm looking to get a good tablet pc for a Christmas present but I don't want to spend too much (so no iPads!!). I have no idea about these things, what's good and what's not etc... so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or knew of any deals or stuff?

I'm not sure if it's any good but KGB Derby has a Android bundle for £90 here

The Google Nexus is the reference when it comes to low-budget tablets

They've been rumors that they are going to make it even cheapier

Aye the Nexus is currently £169 in HMV. You get what you pay for with Droid tablets though so go for the Nexus or the Asus Transformer

I've heard good things about the Kindle Fire too, and that seems relatively cheap.

How about tablet from China brand? Ainol Novo, Huawei..specs quite good for normal use.

Yeah just get a Nexus, no point bothering with owt else other than iPad cause they're generally rubbish
