April proved a rather frustrating month after our flawless start to the season as we only managed two wins from seven league games, although there was only the one defeat in there which was to champions Heartland, had I still been Kwara boss this would have been a very good month, however now 'm expected to be pushing for the title and we simply cannot afford so many dropped points even at this early stage.
As a result our league position has taken a bit of a tumble;
Heartland are almost certainly going to overtake us, however I can't see the form of the top two lasting for too much longer, which should set us up in a three horse race with Heartland and Dolphins over the remainder of the campaign.
I'm having to deal with a rumble of discontent within the camp at the moment, winger Musa Buhari is unhappy that I rebuffed the advances of Egyptian side Al-Ahly for his services, after a heated face to face meeting he has decided he can no longer work with me and is seeking a move away. I won't tolerate any BS from my players and he is free to leave, as long as his new suiters are willing to meet my valuation of the 21 year old. otherwise he can damn well keep doing what he's paid to do for us and be grateful for it, or else rot in the reserves.

As with last month, we accumulated a set of results that most sides within the NPL would be happy with, however the pressure is starting to build from an impatient board and fan base as we suffered a heavy defeat to fellow title competitors Dolphins, making it two defeats out of two in meetings with the other two thirds of the 'big three'
My job status in now set to insecure so I need to get us winning consistently again or my time at the Sani Abacha stadium is going to be short lived, all of June's games are against sides in the bottom half of the table so it is imperative that we pick up as many points as possible next month.
Away from the league we have been drawn to face the Warri Wolves in the last sixteen of the challenge cup, a tough game but I feel confident we can advance into the quarter finals from and from there who knows? collecting some silverware is obviously a major ambition of mine, and the cup would ensure that we qualify for the Confederations cup next year at the very least, but of course our sights are really set on the Champions League.
The Musa Buhari situation has now been resolved with the want away winger set to join Serbian outfit Rad Beograd for a cool £425k which will give our bank balance a nice boost;
I've already re-invested some of that money to snare his replacement from Egyptian side Wadia Degla;
Emmanuel is actually re-signing for Kano after departing for the Egyptian league three years ago on free transfer, he made 43 appearances and scored seven times for us in his previous spell.

An unbeaten month, although we are still dropping points in games we should be winning. still we are only six points off the top at this point s the teams above us must also be suffering with the same inconsistncies we are, we are far from out the title race yet as we edge over the half way point of the season.
Despite our unpredictable league form, we are still making headway in the Challenge cup, advancing through to the last eight and in with good shout of landing some silverware in my opinion;
I'm hoping to meet Kwara in the final!
An injury to top scorer Bello Korfamata has ruled him out until the end of the season so I have swooped for Tranmere Rovers's Ivorian forward Jean-Louie Akpa-Akrpo to fill his boots, costing us a cool £87k, Strong and hard working, hopefully he will provide all the fire-power we need to get back on track in the league.
As it keeps happening on the same day I guess it's proberly down to the editor data I'm using. so annoyng as I was only a few games off my 100th match.
