I've just checked and all download links work for me, you can use the link in the very first post or the big blue DOWNLOAD button located at the top right corner of each page.
If you came from an external site, then their link is broken (possibly when the file has been updated)

Hi, Folks. My report of South American Adboards.

Argentinean Primera Division is 5 of 20 finished Racing Club and Estudiantes, Tigre Comes Next.
Chilean Primera Division is 16 of 18 finished with only left Everton de Viña y Union la Calera.

Quick Update:
The download link is managed by sortitoutsi rather than myself I just upload the file to them
- I shall enquire as to why the link is down in the next few days
As a temporary measure until 14.03 is released I have re-added the download link for 14.02 from depositfiles

Castor.troy - I shall look into Aston Villa for you and see if just requires an update to the XML

First you can enable the IDs ingame. You will see the ID next to the logo or the name.
2nd option (and more comfortable) is to use the editor to find out all the IDs.

As far as I'm aware the skin shouldn't have any effect on the boards

If the boards worked for you in FM13 that means that one of the following is most likely the problem, as the file still works in the same way

a) One of the settings in Preferences is not correct or b) the folders are incorrectly placed or named
Make sure all folders are named using just lowercase letters

I have tried to get this to work on FM13 & just gave up. This year I would really like to use it but yet again I cant get it to work.

I have put the fm.xml file in C:\Users\1. Dad\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\ads as instructed.
I have put the ads graphics file in C:\Users\1. Dad\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2014\graphics\pictures as instructed.

I have carried out the instruction in step 7

7. Go to the 'display' tab and untick 'use skin cache'
tick 'reload skin on confirm'
untick 'clicking on an ad board takes you to its owners website'
Go to the 'general' tab and set size of text & images to 100% (if not already)
Confirm these changes

Still the boards dont work. This is the only download I havent ever managed to get to work. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRICIATED.

What are you getting instead?
are you getting the fm & warchild boards, plain black boards or a repeated selection of some major brands Coca-Cola etc?

Hello,

I've got exactly same problem as Superseagull69.

Only default custom ads are working (Coca-Cola, Continental, Castrol, Visa...). I can't make the others work.

What do we do wrong ?

Edit: finally, it' working after restarting FM... I had skipped last step, shame on me.

I seem to keep getting the "default" boards like visa, powerade etc even though I am watching CL and EPL games? What could be causing this?

I'm using the no clubs ads XML file.

After further checking it wasnt the files in the skin folder working it was those in the original location, deleted the files from the Skin & they still work.
