Hi guys, can someone give me advice how to set my DB optimally before starting the game, i would like to have all the juicy woderkids and talented players, old legends also(Aimar, Del Piero, Kanoute) but still run the game smoothly.

There is no correct answer to this as we don't know which leagues you are running or what your computer set-up is like.

Hmm.. I might have been inaccurate.
I was talking about setting up a new game.
So, for the sake of argument, i want to play with Liverpool or AS Livorno,
But i also like to keep my options open, so i like to have several top tier leagues active at all times(EPL, SerieA, Bundesliga, SPL)
But, when i turn off some south american leagues i don't get some of those nice talented players, same thing with Scandinavia for example, not to mention Africa. Even on Large Database size

My question is, how to set up a game (both Leagues and DB, etc) to get most of talented players, but still keep the game smooth.

I do not plan to buy them all, but i like my game to be well populated with talent.

You are able to load the leagues but don't chose them as playable and that should allow the leagues and their teams to prosper realistically without as much drag on your computer.

Thats the only way really.

Again, this is entirely depending on what your computer is like (a fast, modern computer with a lot of RAM and a powerful processor can run many more leagues effectively than a 10 year old laptop), what leagues you'd consider absolutely essential and what your own definition of the game running "smooth" is.

Personally I run with about 20 nations and 30 or so leagues loaded and about 85.000 players.
