Decided against signing a new striker until January at least, but couldn't turn down the chance to sign transfer listed Javi Garcia from City. Will be used mainly as a CB where we're a bit light, grabbed a debut goal too. Been pleased results wise, made some tactical changes straight after the Liverpool match by trying to get the side to play through Ozil as much as possible. Performances instantly improved as you can see and have been very happy with the amount of goal scorers we have, rather than just the one stand out player.
In the CL group stage we drew Shaktar, Ajax and BATE, so we should be qualifying from that whilst in the League Cup 3rd we've been drawn against Man City at home. That one could go either way.

Top 10 Summer Transfers 2013
An unbeaten but somewhat disappointing month results wise, should have beaten Man Utd, were unlucky in the cup against City and poor against WBA.
Giroud has been great up front, scoring 5 and assisting 3 in 8 games, whilst Ozil now has 3 goals and 3 assists from 8 appearances so or though thats not too bad for a new player, i'm still expecting as improvement.

Another mediocre month where goals were hard to come by, we're creating chances just not converting them. Luckily no one is really running away with the league but with Novembers fixtures looking tough we could fall some way back going by recent performances.

It took a while but finally the game as realised how crap i am, pathetic performances and crap results, just like old times.
Next up is the visit of league leaders Man City and this is what i'm left with...

Well that Chelsea game seemed to have given the players a kick up the arse and December turned out to be our best month of the season so far. We looked so much stronger in every game and are now right back in the CL places.

Amazing what a couple of slight changes to the tactics can do.
Top 10 World Transfers In January Window
Slightly disappointing month where we struggled in front of goal a little in the league, the defeat to Man Utd was well deserved though.
Done some transfer business in the window, Diaby signed for Anji for £6m whilst Viviano asked for his loan to be terminated as got no playing time. Bacary Sagna has agreed a contract with Marseille and will leave in the Summer. My search for a striker ended and Carlos Vela was my choice. Was wondering if the buy back deal Arsenal have for him (in real life) was also in the game. Well it must be as despite him being worth £12m, Sociedad only asked for £3.4m so a great bit of business done there.

Well after going on a great run in Jan/Feb and looking like title contenders, we somehow managed to completely end any chance of that in just a handful of games. Yes they were tough matches, but we should have performed so much better. We also have Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarters, they currently (as expected) top the Bundesliga and are in the Semi Finals of the DFB-Pokal so i don't hold much hope in that tie.

We won one, yes one fucking match of our final ten Premier League fixtures, this lead the board to call a meeting where i managed to keep the job by the skin of my teeth. I must produce at least 10pts from the first five games next season, admittedly even this side should be able to manage that. There will be a few players leaving and i've already got my eye on one or two replacements, plus i have the loaned out players to return.

The only major signing i could afford was Barkley and that took a massive chunk of my £40m budget. My second position i wanted to strenghen was upfront, i was searching everywhere for a goalscorer and Mexican Raul Alonso Jimenez was my number one choice, he bagged 31 goals last season but sadly could not secure a work permit. All other options were too expensive so Sanogo would be getting more game time as my attempts of extending Joel Campbell's contract soon ended with his £35k a week wage demands, cock. He went to Everton.
On the pitch its been a decent season so far, sadly Chelsea have been unstoppable.

Too many draws this month but with games in hand we are still right up there with a shout. Very unhappy at the Villa result in the cup too, they seem to be a bit of a bogey side for us. The biggest news was transfer wise, i decided to sell Giroud simply because he wasn't scoring and this pissed me off, he went for a knock down £11.5m to Sociedad. But the biggest news was Jack Wilshere desire to leave (the second time its happened), this time i couldn't talk him around (twat) and he was sold to Man City for £31.5m. A replacement was instantly needed as we're short in the middle as it is, so Yann M'Vila was purchased for £25m from Rubin.

Very disappointing result against Southampton, they were much the better team and deserved the win. But 'if' we can win those games in hand when they come, we're real title challengers. Sadly i know at some point we're gonna be playing quite often to catch up and thats gonna really tire the players and performances will drop just when you need them the most.

My first silverware, well deserved too, have a very good chance in the Europa League as we're certainly the strongest side left. League form was again ruined by bloody draws, can't see us winning the Prem now but we should certainly be finishing in the top 4.

Really not too worried about the league now as long as we finish in the top 4, played so many games this month and it really took its toll on the players. A lesson learned as i won't be allowing so many players out on loan next season. We're also one good result away from the Europa League final, so could well end up a very good season.
VP.
Overall a very successful season, two pieces of silverware and Champions League football again next season. Unless any real top class players become available i won't be signing anyone but will instead be looking towards the youngsters in our team to step up.

For some reason our value has rocketed from 6th to 2nd, may be something to do with the fair play rules i don't know. Maybe someone has had similar when managing Arsenal.
VP.
Well we're at the right end of the table but that may all change soon as we've a fairly easy start fixture wise and probably should be topping the table. Transfer wise just two players were sold, Podolski to Freiberg and Coquelin to Lyon, i didn't give in to that massive budget i had and my only major signing was Anderlecht striker Aleksander Mitrovic in a bid to fix my goalscoring problem, he managed 54 goals over the past two seasons in Belgium and got a very good scout report, so fingers crossed. Gnabry and Zelarem were promoted from the reserves into the first team also and both are doing well.

Well, we're looking half decent at last, still could be better as have had a couple of results where we should have won. We look much better in front of goal and or though we do concede a few, we certainly entertain as well! Just how football should be played.
