Still top of the table and that's the important thing. You didn't seem to like scoring in the League Cup this season and it's a shame you went out on spot kicks, did you field a weakened side?

Thanks KEZ, even more annoying is they were the side that knocked us out the capital one cup!

Yeha the Capital One Cup is blatently only a micky mouse cup Shedender haha we suck in that competition and don't look like getting anywhere, nope it was a rather strong side IIRC

Thanks KEVO! It certainly is a change to play as United, but I'm actually enjoying it! haha

We are in good form Dyrim, losing De Gea has given Butland the chance to finally prove what hes worth and he is beginning to shine!

So we've played one friendly in 2016 and its planned to be our only one before the Under Nineteen Championship. We welcomed Germany to 'The Pit' infront of just seventy five spectators. We took the spoils too in a four one win. Hunt gave us the lead before Han levelled a minute into injury time for the host. Second half Pett fired us two one ahead before Charles and Mitchell netted late on securing a four one win.

Premier League Action...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6bBXUbYFmKfAheYD2jgp6t0tS2ECULUomZox61QS.png

A few defeats slipped into our game in the second half of the season including our first league defeat against Nottingham Forest. We went on to lose two more league games this season, both away from home against Liverpool and Chelsea. But would our good league form be good enough to secure the league title for a second successive season? Manchester City were hot on our heels so it was never going to be easy...

FA Cup Action...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/maufXWeNI70SCkFRqwDIeW1Fd6npt3OWjNyMHKAi.png

A relatively easy run through to the Final. We beat West Brom in the replay at Old Trafford convincingly before beating Wigan at home in the round after. We travelled to Nottingham Forest who knocked us out the Capital One Cup and ended our unbeaten Premier League run, but we won this tie to set up a Semi Final clash with Blackburn, seeing us win three nil. But in the Final Stoke were the stronger and better opposition as we blow a chance of back to back FA Cup trophies and lose three one.

Champions League Action...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/MBUALOoCrALAxPx73p8VKX565q8GDwFtGLxC099q.png

Bloody Germans!! When will we get a good run in the Champions League!? After winning all six of our group games we faced Dortmund in the First Knockout Round and were knocked out by a German side for the third successive season. We lost three one in Germany and despite winning one nil at home it wasn't enough!

Premier League Table...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/vIQos20kfeZ75Z0TN65kiEhN2hNShtWyLCLMoP8I.png

Champions of the double for a second season running! Well that was close wasn't it! We win the league on goal difference over Manchester City! Both teams from Manchester finished on eighty nine points but our plus fifty four goal difference was just seven better than theirs and saw us rightfully claim the league title with just three defeats this season. Chelsea finish third with Tottenham in fourth. West Brom surprisingly qualifying for Europa League football in fifth. They are joined by Stoke and more than likely Everton. Arsenal miss out down in eighth with struggling Liverpool down in eleventh.

So we have played our three group games in the Second Qualifying Round of the Under Nineteen Qualifiers and despite a slow start, we managed to sort our form out We lost one nil at home to FYROM before travelling up to Scotland and claiming a three one win. We ended the group with a four nil win over Denmark as we eased to victory.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/XAuippwWO3zfaIf5Y5Um5VGhTGOUrstZwM7jxKyJ.png

This sees us through to the UEFA U-19 Championships where we reached the Final last year and lost to Spain. Hopefully this year we can do a little better. We topped our group by two points as both Scotland and FYROM finished with four points and Denmark finished bottom with just three points.

Just thought I'd show off the sort of money I've been given to work with this season! A massive £123million just to earn a Champions League spot, thats what I've gone for although I am fairly confident I can earn a third successive league title! If I told the board I was confident in winning the league they'd give me a massive £166million to spend!

How dreadful, we had a tough group with Spain and Netherlands both involved along with Croatia but we should of done better than we did. We began the tournament in poor style losing heavily four nil to Spain! It didn't get any better when we faced Croatia, losing two nil and we were out. A draw to cap off the competition two all with Netherlands but a poor showing.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/girYs4WI25t4h7dbKw2Qa7uqs5M9x8mRlQidHQSN.png

Well thats how the group ended up, we didn't end bottom, well technically we did as us and Netherlands picked up just a point each, both sides scored twice and conceded eight so finished joint bottom whilst Spain won the group on goal difference after tieing with seven points with Croatia.

And then...

And so with old man Roy Hodgson stepping down from his role as England first team manager it seemed right for me to apply and I did and went on to get the job! I got my promotion from the Under Nineteens manager to the main side and now get to travel the world with England!

The Departures...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Phm7wv3PYOVskorPG9EutVgvizU2rEWx12O2VlvA.png

So more departures this summer which now sees me sport a whole English 'main' squad. Seven players left on permanent deals this summer which ended up seeing us bring in just over forty three and a half million pounds. We finally got rid of Bebe after three years of trying, he joins Norwich for one million pounds as does Cameron Borthwick-Jackson a defender of little quality, he joins Brighton. Swansea snap up aging Scottish midfielder Fletcher for eight hundred thousand pounds. Then it was the bigger two departures. Adnan Januzaj heads to Spain as he joins Valencia for eleven million whilst Italian giants Juventus snap up Tom Cleverley for twenty four million pounds. I know he's English but I don't rate him like some of the other players in the squad. Forest snap up young James Weir whilst Micheal Kean joins Stoke for five and a quarter million pounds.

The New Comers...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/oxccKNUJOmsJF40yud0dmQtomZKUrY3Tr6tzalhE.png

Plenty of new faces this summer and I believe this is the first summer I've spent more money on transfer than I've brought in. Its been a good summer though getting plenty of talent. Eight players join the squad this summer with three of them coming from fierce rivals Chelsea. Several deals were made during February and March and they joined early. 'Phil Jones' was first through the door, a seventeen year old midfielder with plenty of promise joins for just short of five million from Everton. Curtis Charles then cost us ten and a half million from Chelsea with Nathaniel Chalobah also coming from Stamford Bridge, his deal setting us back over fourteen million but both defenders have big futures. We raided West Ham and scooped James Bowerman and Emeka Bassey for a combine fee of nine million pounds to ad another defensive option at the back. We snatched sixteen year old Owen Dunford from Ipswich for one point eight million pounds whilst John Stones and Lewis Nardiello for expensive deals and we are now left praying they will pay off!

More Departures...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xdqCbvB7HknZDx045vcHFgb9Ab5vwxyOfNaK6zys.png

Plenty of loan deals, a few that sees us earn a little bit of money on a monthly basis. We announced a affiliation with my local side Yeovil and this saw three players head their way including my young upcoming star Jimmy O'Hara, he will get plenty of first team football in the Championship I hope.Kevin Hunter also joins Stoke for first team football whilst young Chris Lavery goes back out on loan.

Pre Season On The Pitch...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3gGmNCdITqzIKVdHAx8kt4WhjYv7Y3yEVTREYbRs.png

We weren't great this summer on the pitch in friendlies but we did pick up form as we travelled along. We lost two, drew one and won the remaining four of our games. Losing out to Zenit and Schalke dissappointed me as did drawing with Cordoba. Thankfully we had big wins over Xanthi, Porto and Everton during Rooney's testimonial which he also scored in. A comfortably and expected win over Barnsley too.

The Finances...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/slVipUgcFc4wO5VIuGUKU2cPvUkcHecO0TfdtHBg.png

And even after all that money spent and money in this season the club continue to be in such a strong financial situation as expected. We are the richest club in the world, valued at around £1.2 billion if I remember correctly. Nice to have over two hundred and fifty million pounds in the balance and the transfer budget is just as tidy. Right now I have one hundred and sixty three million pounds at my disposal whilst having over one million pounds spare in the wage budget!

http://i.imgur.com/aoRkSuf.png

So I realised you, my fellow readers, have no idea on my current squad and the ability or potential of the current players at the club. So here is a quick review of the team, in my main squad we have twenty two players with Jimmy O'Hara out on loan at Yeovil Currently. We have two keepers in the main team, Jack Butland and new signing Nardiello both with bright futures.

In defence we have plenty of talent and potential talent. Leading the back line currently we have Phil Jones who netted seventeen goals in all competitions last year and Chris Smalling who netted twelve times. We also have growing Kyle Walker and Luke Shaw who are beginning to make names for themselves. Curtis Charles, Emeka Bassey and John Stones will all get plenty of chance to prove themselves in my back line this season!

Into Midfield and our most experienced player in the whole squad Michael Carrick will be holding the defensive midfield role. Will Hughes, Andros Townsend and Ross Barkley are already regulars of the first team whilst Tom Ince hasn't improved as I wish same with Ravel Morrison but still get plenty of football. There will be plenty of football for James Bowerman and Nick Powell too!

Up top we are currently relying on Rooney, Welbeck and Wilfried Zaha. Zaha is advancing into such a promising role playing of Rooney who I'm sure he won't be too far from taking over the key role. Welbeck is still playing lots. I'd love to get another striker in the squad, got a few players in mind its just sorting the deal before the window shuts.

*If you wish to see any players stats, just drop a comment in the thread and I'm sure I can upload them for you.

The Starting Line Ups

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/n6yvb21lk7gV1xVEdRqP6cB4vHYHJ2XfQJqmmF5s.png

The two starting line ups for the Community Shield clash between Stoke and Manchester United. For a second consecutive year we fielded a full English starting eleven whilst Stoke named just four English starters. In the Stoke line up there were two familiar faces in Buttner and Keane. Whilst we didn't hand out any starting debuts, we went for a strong side, Butland in goal with Jones and Smalling his rocks in front. Walker and Shaw are the right and left backs respectively. Michael Carrick sits just infront the defence with Barkley attacking midfield. Zaha and Townsend the attacking wingers and Rooney and Welbeck leading the front line.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/vcNVVEOWPN6UjXx7kbeWmYvPHMNYURKWBZWdIZEX.png

The game got off to a quick start and that was bad for us as Berisha fired Stoke into the lead just two minutes into the game. However we weren't behind for long, Barkley netted seven minutes later to bring us level and then went on to fire us two one ahead, just after the half hour mark which saw us lead at the break. Second half we made three changes, as Bowerman and Chalobah both came on to make their debuts and Powell also came on. It was to be a fine impact from Bowerman who netted less than five minutes of his debut! We sealed the Community Shield for a second successive season and a third time in four seasons!

Some More Arrivals...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/X5Zfl5eFAEzV6g2yEGI7aBBK5LQAYcHmvMNtswEx.png

Two more players joined the club through August and realising we were a little short on the attacking front I thought I'd bring in another wide midfielder and a striker. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain joins from Arsenal in a deal just short of twenty million pounds. The twenty three year old wide midfielder will be a huge talent in the future. Andre Brown joins us from Crewe in a deal worth two point seven million pounds and he is a striker to watch out for in the future.

More Departures...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/LOzo2yZdgbZeMHhJVJbGZAgOumHsBmG9ipLpgzKM.png

We also had a few more departures, but no permanent deals this August. Norwich take two of our players on loan, Joe Rothwell and Ben Pearson. Feeder club Yeovil take a fourth player of ours on loan for the season, this time its young Simon Cox who heads to Huish Park. Finally latest signing Andre Brown has been loaned back to Crewe for the remainder of the season.

Premier League Action...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/yMklTxJnFzmSE83C879OaBO9TuGTFRkpWO76eDyy.png

Three league games played and three league games won, we just need to keep up that form now! We began the season with a tricky journey to he Emirates to take on Arsenal. And it was a narrow one nil win, thanks to Welbeck's seventieth minute goal. We then welcomed West Brom in our only home game of August where we scraped a two one win, a Rooney penalty and an own goal sealed the win. Before ending the month against Everton at Goodison Park where a seven goal thriller saw us win five two. Our goals came from Rooney, who netted a hatrick along with Jones and Welbeck on the scoresheet.

Well the Capital One Cup, where do I start with this, all three seasons I've been in charge I've failed to get past the Fourth Round dare I say maybe this time? The Third Round has drawn us with Championship side Peterborough and I'm hoping we can push past these and make the Fourth Round.

We kicked off the World Cup Qualifiers with a group game against Albania, away from home we took a two nil win over them but we weren't brilliant. An own goal nine minutes after the break saw us ahead before Smalling netted six minutes from time to secure the win.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/VzBIGLCUjEuHjvWZo8CbYJIzcfv1lKZbn4UKFGpo.png

Sweden are the only side we could potentially 'hicup' against but all looks okay in this group. We are paired with Albania, Georgia, Hungary and Sweden and apart from Georgia and us, every other side have played two games already. We are the only side with the perfect record to date.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/lfSuWrF4e3D4fdRfr5sWomRvteLacrBikCOnjQFJ.png

We then faced El Salvador in a friendly and once again we weren't at our best but luckily did enough to claim the win. Jack Wilshere gave us a ninth minute lead which saw us lead one nil at the break. Second half Baines put us two nil up before a host of substitutes. A late reply from the travelling side saw them grab a consolation but that was it.

Premier League Action...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ZYWfso82lwUGCUNzFCVOsYWBcS63jtxtMs2Qgyh2.png

We had got to the perfect start in the league through August, winning all three of our games, September would following suit too as we played another three games and won all three. We kicked off the month at Huddersfield claiming a three one win with goals from Ince, Welbeck and Stones before a late consolation from the host. We then welcomed Chelsea to Old Trafford and walked over them, claiming a huge four nil win. Smalling got us of to a flyer before Chamberlain netted his first in United colors. Welbeck and Zaha rounded off the scoring. Our final league game of the month was a second clash of the season with Stoke in which we triumphed three two. We nearly blew a three goal lead built up by Townsend, Zaha and Shaw but thankfully held on.

Capital One Cup Action...

We avoided a cupset in the Third Round of the Capital One Cup as we eased past Peterborough. We went one nil down inside a minute to shock us, but we regained faith when Zaha netted eight minutes later. Second half goals from Zaha and Henriquez saw us steal the win.

In the Fourth Round we have a tricky tie travelling to Arsenal, who we've already beat at The Emirates once this season.

Champions League News...

The Champions League has got off to the start we expected, we travelled to Metalist where we battled to a strong three nil win. Welbeck netted the early opener before a late own goal and second for Welbeck stole a three nil win. The second group game saw us welcome Sparta Praha where we won four one. Two first half goals from Danny Welbeck sent us on our way before Townsend and Chamberlain added their goals. A late foal for the travellers may have softened the blow but no points for them.

So we top the group with two wins from two and are joined on six points with second place CSKA Moscow. They trail us by just one goal difference as they've struck just one less than us in the group this season, both conceding just once.

So after just six league games have been played we already lead the table by six points! Manchester City are the side in second place with twelve points along with Newcastle and Southampton. However we are the only side to be unbeaten at this stage of the season. Liverpool sit fifth, Chelsea seventh whilst its been slow starts for thirteenth place Arsenal and sixteenth place Tottenham.

Impressive win against Chelsea pal and holy crap, is that the first time (in a while) you have won a League Cup game in 90 minutes?

Two more group wins from two games sees us continue to fly through the competition. We began by welcoming Sweden, the tie I thought would be trickiest of our group but we eased to a four nil win. Sturridge netted early on before Welbeck and Smalling netted in the first half seeing us three nil up. Second half their was a second for Welbeck as we strolled past. We then travelled to Georgia where a Wilfried Zaha double, either side of the break saw us claim a two nil win.

We continue to storm forward in the group with three wins from three now and without conceding a goal in the qualifiers to date. We lead the table by five points over second third and fourth place Hungary, Sweden and Albania respectively whilst Georgia sit bottom on a lonely single point. We have one more competitive game left of the calender year and a friendly to be played in November.

Love this story so far. Really interesting to see how well an all English Man Utd can do. I suppose now that you are in charge on England as well you have the perfect testing ground on new players that you might want to buy!

On a separate note how do you get your league tables, Transfers and fixture lists to be so narrow and miss out all of the presumed extra space in between. (hope that makes sense) In my story's thread when I am posting a league table it is so wide compared to yours so I was wandering how you did it!

Thanks KEVO, appreciate the kind words, I think I may start creating new kits every season or two, just to mix things up a little.

Thanks Ice Man, I certainly do have added stance in seeing what talent the England side produces and as you said this lets me know if there are players out there I need. For my images I just crop them down in paint first to get rid of the massive gaps, make it look a little tidier.

Bit harsh, I get criticised every team selection I do because of the 'high' number of Manchester United players picked. Maybe thats because I have the majority of talent from the England team! Muppets!

I'm not really sure how we didn't win this by more here, we welcomed Albania and only won four nil, I say only because they finished the game with just nine men! We played well, Rooney netted a calm hatrick, two in the first half and his third coming second half. Welbeck was also on song netting in the first half.

And this sees us end the calender year top of the World Cup Qualifying group by five points over second place Sweden. We are the only unbeaten side in the group and are the only side not to have conceded a goal through the group as we've scored twelve times in four games picking up the maximum twelve points.

We then travelled to Dublin to take on Ireland in a friendly where we came back from two one down to claim a three two win. We took the lead when Ince netted his first ever England goal fifteen minutes in. But goals from Simon Cox and Jeff Hendrick saw Ireland lead two one at the break. After some angry words at half time the team came back out to steal a three two win with Young and Agbonlahor both netting.
