Tribe Called Quest, Pharcyde, Nas, NWA, Mos Def, Pharoahe Monch is my kinda deal...if you wanna hear something REALLY good, check out 'Wugazi', these guys mashed up Fugazi & Wu-Tang tunes, really really good.

New Jay-Z is pretty average on first listen.
