A group of 30 players from around the world have joined forces to create a new footballing force in Basingstoke, who play in the Blue Square Bet South. The club has maximum reputation, hundreds of millions of pounds in the bank with a sugar daddy, top class youth facilities and the best training facilities in the world. All original players have been removed along with all the staff, except the chairman and the manager. I will not be managing them as there is no point. I will go on holiday for months at a time and check on their progress. Will all the players want to stay in the lower leagues and pick up top wages? Or will they leave for the glory of the Premier League and Europe? Theres only one way to find out. Here are the 30 dudes taking the BSB South by storm:
Marc-André ter Stegen
Jack Butland

Nemanja Vidic
Kurt Zouma

As you'd imagine, they destroyed everybody winning all the league games. It was the same story in the FA Trophy and even in the friendlies where they won 3-2 away at Bayern Munich. There were no transfers in or out over the season.
The only game of the season they didn't win, was in the FA Cup semi final. It was also the only game where they failed to get on the scoresheet, as they lost 1-0 to Liverpool at Wembley thanks to a late Aspas goal.
Overview
- The first goal of the season they conceded was in a 9-1 win over Heybridge on 10/11/12 in the FA Trophy 3rd Qualification Round.
- The first league goal they conceded was to Dover on the 8/12/12 in a 4-1 victory.
- The biggest win was 11-0 over Truro on April Fools day. Cavani and Neymar both got 3 goals.
- Cristiano Ronaldo was the top scorer with 40 goals in 46 games.
- Vidic was the captain with Ronaldo as vice-captain.
- Surprisingly, Franck Ribery only made 6 appearences, scoring just 1 time in all competitions.
- Emile Heskey didn't make a single appearence.
- Xavi of Barcelona won the 2012 World Golden Ball.

I like how they've kept Heskey. Must been saving him for the Premier League!
Obviously they won the league again. This time the Blue Square Bet Premier, but not quite as convincingly as you would think. Winning all 46 games would get you 138 points, but Basingstoke could only manage to get a very average 136 points. The one team to prevent them winning in the league were the mighty Tamworth when they held Basingstoke to a 2-2 draw. They did also draw in the FA Cup 5th round with West Ham, but they did win the replay. Amazingly they went all the way and actually won the FA Cup this time, beating Manchester City 2-0 in the final. Basingstoke also won the FA Trophy for the 2nd season in a row.
Overview
- Cristiano Ronaldo once again top scored with 41 goals in 55 games.
- Their biggest win of the season was only 6-0, which was achieved multiple times.
- Basingstoke managed to get through a whole season without losing a single game in any competition, including friendlies.
- Emile Heskey played 1 game, although it was only a substitute appearence.
- Lionel Messi took the captaincy from Vidic. Ronaldo stayed as vice captain.
- Both Messi and Ronaldo failed to get a hat trick all season.
- Toni Kroos of Manchester United won the 2013 World Golden Ball after leaving Basingstoke.
- The sale of David Alaba to Manchester United at £26m, is unsurprisingly the biggest in the clubs history.
- 100th win achieved since revolution begun.

Erick1011 - Thanks! I just wondered what would happen if they were all in non league.
I gave them all 20 year contracts so that the players nobody could afford to sign, like Ronaldo and Messi, were in no danger of leaving. Those 2 will hopefully retire at Basingstoke!
bmg033
Well that was unexpected.
EDIT: Michael Owen was sacked as manager of Redditch in January 2015 after just 7 months in charge.

Thanks! I try to get a season done every now and then, it doesn't take long.

Suck on that Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG. Your wealthy powers are no match for the boys from Basingstoke.

Yet more players bolted for the exit. But there was actually 1 incoming player.
Transfer in:
Massimo Bruno from Tottenham Hotspur - Loan (January)
Transfers out:
Andres Iniesta to Chelsea - £12m
Phil Jones to Manchester City - £11.75m
Edinson Cavani to Real Madrid - £22m

Once again Basingstoke won the league, but they could only get 128 points this time around. Still no league defeats though as the points dropped were from 5 draws. The season began by beating Manchester City in the community shield. That was a result of winning last seasons FA Cup, and so was a tasty Europa League campaign. They had a good run in Europe, beating AC Milan and Porto on the way to the final. But in the final, Schalke did the typical German thing by beating an English team on penalties. The Capital One Cup ended at the quarter final stage, again losing on penalties, but this time to West Brom. The FA Cup brought more bad news as Basingstoke lost to Manchester United 3-1 in the 5th round. There was joy in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy though, as they won it at their first ever attempt.
Overview
- Basingstoke brought their first loan in since the revolution begun. Massimo Bruno from Spurs.
- Basingstoke played their first ever european games.
- The biggest win of the season was 7-0 which they achieved against Exeter City. Neymar scored 4 of the goals.
- David Silva of Manchester City won the 2015 World Golden Ball.
- Lionel Messi played the equivalent of 2 Premier League seasons in just one season. He played in 76 matches.
- Messi also top scored with 48 goals.
- Emile Heskey made 13 appearences and scored 3 goals in his retirement season. He has since expressed his desire to become a manager.

A fourth straight league title has seen Basingstoke rise to the Championship from the Blue Square Bet South. This was the season that they lost their first league game 3-2 away at Bristol City. Defeats at Crawley and Crewe followed later in the season. Much like last season, Basingstoke failed to win the Capital One Cup, losing to Spurs in the final, and FA Cup, losing 5-2 to Chsrlton in the 5th round. But they did win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy for the 2nd year running. This means they have never lost a match in JP Trophy history. Despite the comfortable league win, it was without doubt their worst season so far. 3 defeats and 7 draws meant they dropped 23 points and finished with 115 points.
Overview
- Basingstoke suffered their first league loss since the revolution began, 3-2 at Bristol City.
- Neymar was the top scorer with 44 goals in 66 games.
- Neymar is the first player to score 3 hat tricks in a season more than once. (2012-13 & 2015-16)
- The biggest win of the season was 6-0. This scoreline was achieved against Barnsley, Plymouth and Forest Green.
- Cesc Fabregas of Barcelona won the 2015 World Golden Ball.
- Cyril Redmond became the first youth player to break through into the end of season Best Eleven starting XI.

A first ever permanent signing came in from Manchester City. Just 1 departure this time.
Transfer in:
John Guidetti from Manchester City - Free
Transfer out:
Kurt Zouma to Inter - £14.75m (January)

Basingstoke endured their worst season so far. 6 defeats and just 102 points. There was no success in either the FA or Capital One Cups as they were eliminated by the North London duo Tottenham and Arsenal. They did of course win the league, and now they will begin preparation on a first ever Premier League campaign. Will this see the transfer budget finally raided for big name players?
Overview
- Basingstoke made their first permanent signing since the revolution begun. John Guidetti from Manchester City.
- Their biggest win of the season was 6-0 against West Brom.
- Manager Jason Bristow signs a new 5 year contract.
- Neymar was top goal scorer with 27 goals in 50 games.
- Basingstoke recorded their lowest points haul so far. 102 points.
- Their first home league defeat since the revolution begun was to Millwall (0-1) on 4/11/16.

This was Basingstoke's first ever season in the top flight of English football. The season didn't start too well though as they crashed to defeats against Arsenal and Chelsea without scoring a goal. They did achieve their first ever Premier League victory on matchday 3 against QPR as they won 4-0. Neymar will go down in history as the first player to score in the Premier League for the club. In the Capital One Cup, Basingstoke went all the way to the semi final where they were surprisingly beaten by Millwall on away goals after drawing 4-4. The FA Cup was a total failure as they went out in round 3, losing 1-0 to Manchester United. No cup games after January meant they could get their heads down and concentrate on the race for the league title. Some good wins over Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham and an away draw at Manchester City came, but it wasn't enough as Basingstoke, for the first time, didn't win the league title. They did finish 3rd though, which guarantees a place in the Champions League group stage for the 2018-19 season. Now they can hopefully test themselves against Europe's elite.
Overview
- Basingstoke competed in their first ever Premier league campaign.
- Manager Jason Bristow won the Premier League manager of the season award.
- £20.5m for Matija Nastasic is Basingstoke's new record fee for an incoming player.
- Lionel Messi won the 2017 World Golden Ball award.
- The biggest win of the season was 5-0. This was achieved against Southampton.
- Basingstoke have now scored over 1000 goals since the revolution begun.
- Cristiano Ronaldo won the Premier League Golden Boot with just 19 goals.

Are they playing a 4-4-2 tactic, as in the best eleven graphic?

Thanks, I try to get a season done when I can. Yep, they have played the normal 4-4-2 every season.
