Probably have an update in the next few days after I've got things off and running.
Targets:
- Domestic treble within 2 seasons
- Champions League quarter final within 3 seasons
- Champions League Final within 5 season
- Manage Scotland at any level at international tournament (bonus)

Cheers man!
First day on the job, fixed the training, set a base tactic (a good ol' 442) and sorted the first team out. Tactic wise I hope to try and set it up the way Man City have been using the 442 recently, hopefully this works out.
Also as per the moneyball challenge guidelines transfer budgets are disabled in the first window so I'll have to work with what I have.
SR67
This is how it looks at first glance, may be a few changes but not much. There is a few quality players not selected, so we have a lot of room for rotation just like Man City.
Not much to comment on the tactics yet as most of it will be changed slightly. I realise I don't have the squad to play exactly like Man City so I'm going for a toned down version but with the same basic principals.

Cheers mate!
Pre-season went down well. Won all matches and got an idea of the way I want to play, not perfected it yet though. Played a mixed batch of teams, meaning I could test some things and give some youngsters a run out.
Managed to get the board to invest in the youth training facilities but they refused to upgrade Lennoxtown. Up next we have the Champions League qualifiers and the big kick off of the 2013/14 season.

Great start to the season. Good run of games in the Champions League qualifiers to put us through to the group stages. Trips to Hungary, Israel and Ireland turned out to be pretty easy considering we only conceded one. 10 from 12 was ok, hopefully we can take maximum points the next few months.

Cheers mate, he's slacking a bit now though!
Cheers, aye it looks a tough one.
Not as good as the beginning of the season but ok nonetheless. Would have liked a few more clean sheets but the defence just isn't performing. A shake up might be needed. I'm planning on uploading the tactics in the next post. We're sitting comfy with a great goal difference. No doubts in my mind about the league, St. Mirren are the surprise performers this year.
Doing much better than expected in the Champions League. For a group of death, to be still in with a shout at the half way mark is a real treat. I'd still be delighted with the Europa League spot.

We got some great news at the beginning of November. This means I can strengthen the squad if we make it past the New Year in Europe. Now on to the tactics. As I said I wanted to try the Man City way but it's far to complex for the squad. I've tried to keep things simple, gone with a 442 and two variants of a 451.
A - Work ball into the box, play out of defence, pass into space and play wider.
B - Work ball into the box, look for the overlap and play wider.
C - Work ball into the box, play out of defence and exploit the middle.

Just let this sink in. He's played twice, poorly, and missed most of his career through injury. I'm glad to get his £10k p/w wage off my budget, but this team are crazy. Also I renewed some contracts, all of the high earners got the same weekly wage and some of the youngsters got small wage rises.

Tell me about it haha!
Cheers Dan!
After a rough November we really kicked into gear in December, the loss to Galatasaray was a real turning point this season. I'm delighted to stay undefeated in the league and secure a place in the Europa League last 16. I don't see us going any further after a tough draw against Napoli.
SR67
I got most the transfer activity out the way early. I knew there would be a big bid for Efe Ambrose so I made bids for Rob Kiernan and Danny Wilson to ensure I was ready. I was looking to ship out Amido Balde so I confirmed the deal for Stevie May mid November.
SR67
A great start to 2014 domestically. We didn't conceded many and only dropped 2 points, there is a real chance of going the season undefeated. We bowed out of the Europa League to a very strong Napoli side.
SR67
Well what a season. Undefeated in the league to make up for a disappointing time in both cups. We also reached the last 32 of the Europa League. We went behind in 5 games but managed to pull it back and either win or draw.
It was a good year for the Highland clubs as Ross County lifted the League Cup and Inverness lifted the Scottish Cup.
SR67
Somehow I didn't get manager of the year...
SR67
Up front we had a wide range of options, everyone chipped in with a few goals. I'll need to trim this down for next season as I also have Tony Watt coming back from loan.
SR67
I got a very good budget to carry out my plans and reckon I could double it after players sales. I plan on making around 5 changes to the squad this year to try and progress further in Europe.
SR67
I made some big changes over the summer, a few first team faces left and were replaced. Hopefully the squad is now good enough to reach the last 16 of the Champions League or the Europa League quarters.
SR67
We didn't make it easy on ourselves but we made it through to the group stages. Not as tough as last year but still at tough group at that, I'm aiming for 7 points minimum here maybe 10 if we can beat Anderlecht in both legs.

Yeah it is, hopefully we can at least make the Europa League.
Cheers man, came close to messing it up a few times!

Our good run of form continued, September has been the best month yet. Five clean sheets in-a-row including a win on the road in Europe. This takes our run to 46 games undefeated. I brought in Gael Kakuta on a free, he's been labeled as one of the best players of his generation being wasted at Chelsea. Hopefully he can do the business for me.

Aye he's doing a grand job so far.
