Beautiful Magic Square by Ovro
Bug Fix:
Version 2; Added advanced forward for increased amount of goals from various positions, also ball playing defender, for increased retaining possession.
An unusual yet highly effective formation, perfect for possession. This formation really makes the ball do the work, and you'll often find your players still have 90% energy at half time and 75-80% at full time, this is due to the proximity between the players.
Here is the league table showing off how strong and effective this tactic is, I've done many test saves all with identical if not better results, it's just I re-installed windows recently and lost everything so had to re-install. 1 goal conceded is remarkable and it's mostly due to the fact my team is the best tackling team in the league, a I've been told in many press conferences.
Just a few games to show the stats, the Sunderland game is a fantastic example of games vs lower teams. The lower team has anything between 0 and 3 shots.
Here is a pass graph, because people love seeing these so much.
This is pretty much what every game is like, with that amount of passes being played.
How to use:
Match training:
Leave match training to your assistant.
Opposition instructions:
None unless you're facing Messi.
Team talks:
Standard.
Types of players:
-GK; should be good with the ball at his feet.
-WB; High stamina, good crossing, concentration and tackling.
-CB; Should have decent acceleration, tackling, marking, heading and anticipation.
-HB; Passing, marking, tackling, concentration, stamina
-MCL; Passing, tackling, creativity
-MCR; Passing, creativity, dribbling, technique
-AMCL; Passing, creativity, finishing, crossing, technique
-AMCR; Passing, creativity, finishing, dribbling, technique
-ST; Finishing, pace, acceleration, crossing, dribbling, technique, passing
I will add more information later when I have time, for now ask questions if you are unsure about anything.

5 clear cut chances to their 1 and 70% possession.
Incredibly unlucky!

Give the tactic time to get fluid. That should solve all defensive insecurities. The CCC's this tactic creates = scandalous.

I took some of the individual instructions from your tactic, though, and that helped a lot! After 7 league matches with Liverpool: 5W-2D-0L, 10 GF, 1 GA. Top of the league.
Thanks for the tips!!

These are the players I intended to play or start with for this tactic:
SK- De Gea
FBs- Rafael & Evra
CBs- Vidic & Evans
HB- Carrick
DLP- Gundogan
AP- Pogba
Eng- Mata
Treq- Rooney
AF- RVP
What do you think of the players in these positions?
Here's what I want to tweak:
1) Play Phil Jones in the HB role as I feel he is a better player than Carrick
2) Have Pogba "Shoot More Often" as he has a good long shot stat
3) Change RVP to a Com Fwrd because I feel he is more suited to that
How will this impact the tactic overall? I sold Kagawa btw and have Max Meyer as my backup for either the Eng or Treq role. Should I go and get myself a proper DM? I loaned out Fellani & also sold Cleverly which means my other midfielders are Sergi Samper & Giggs as covers.
I've played a few friendlies with this tactic and have found that although we tend to dominate the match in terms of possession, shots and clear cut chances, we just can't score. The most I've scored in a match is 3 so far.
Thanks

3 in a match is good though

2) Pogba has the "shoots from distance" ppm so doesn't need any more encouragement to shoot.
3) Not sure tbh.

If you can get him to stop doing that he'll be a good fit.

I wouldn't sign anyone, I'd just train Jones.
Kondogbia out of the two though.

I signed Kacar with the intention of playing him CB and he kept dribbling and it was pissing me off.
