Sorry for the latest ref rant, just didn't want to express my opinion about being threatened and called a dickhead by a so-called Town 'fan'. Easier to criticise a poor referee than say what I want about that idiot - 36 hours down the line and I'm not convinced I've calmed down yet!

Davies fired.

Bold step with so little of the season left.

Eight games without a win and lost 5-0 away to Derby on Saturday, but still only two points outside the play-off spots.

Didn't think he would've got the boot tbh.

Neil Warnock has rejected the job.

Didn't go down to Watford but from what I heard it was a great game and in the end we will take a point with a 93rd minute equaliser if we could actually defend we would have won comfortably also scored 3 goals without rhodes scoring must be a first!

Individual. Fucking. Errors. Again.

Middlesbrough had a grand total of two chances, both gifted to them by superb through balls from our midfield. Much better side again going forward and unlucky not to score more, especially when Wells had one (wrongly, I thought) ruled out for offside. But we gift wrapped two goals. Again.

Losing at home, comfortably, to our biggest rivals, in front of a packed stadium with the fans all ready for the big occasion.

Bottlers.

MISSING!!!!!: Killer instinct in front of the goal and maybe even outside the box

Last Seen: Mansfield.

Any help? We need to get back amongst the goals or we may be heading for relegation woes again.

Birmingham could be condemned to life in non-league unless the situation regarding who owns them is sorted out. Birmingham mail

Now wouldn't that be a shame.

Two new loan singings for us today: Danny Rose from Barnsley and Hallam Hope from Everton

I lost count how many players we already had this season. May create a list and post the results here as I believe we are well into our 50's by now

43 players in the League alone, it seems. Those two will push it to 45. How's Jake Carroll getting on for you?

We've signed FM/CM lower league legend Enoch Showumni on loan 'til the end of the season He's coincidentally our 999th first team player (If he lays that is).

Leeds fail to pay players' wages. Non-playing staff paid (and quite right, too).

My list says 48 but I excluded players like Andy Bishop, Phil Picken and Navid Nasseri who have technically been on our books but who didn't feature,

Carroll is a bit of a liability I'm afraid. Started off brightly with a well taken goal at Mansfield (Balotelli style) but other than that he's done little to prove he's League Two quality. Fleetwood's right winger tore him a new one when we played them and his defending at Torquay for their second goal was questionable. These are just plain examples of his life here but you get the picture.

IMO, he's not a defender. He likes to go forward and I think his pace is better suited at LW than at LB.

Weird. From what I've seen of him he's never looked comfortable going forward! I can always hope he'll take the Jack Hunt career development path (thought of as dire at Conference side Grays Athletic, middling at Chesterfield in League Two, good option for us in League One, and best young right-back outside the Prem with us in the Championship).

I'm afraid he has no future here. We brought in Chris Hussey from Burton and he does a good job and Carroll hasn't even been on the bench lately.

Sounds like Reading got very, very lucky this afternoon. We've scored, hit the bar, forced blinding saves out of the keeper, had them cleared off the line, the lot. And they've got a dodgy penalty and taken it. We should have taken 6 points off them this season, and we've got one. And no, I don't care how high in the table they are - in both games, we've been vastly superior to them.

3-0 away win at Northampton. Hope and Rose played for the first time and both grabbed their first goal for us. Easy that.

The ref is a disgrace.. How can he not give a free kick to us? Never mind a penalty and a red card to Hanley all this at 0-0 too, did brilliantly to grab another late point but really we need to win these games and if it wasn't for the awful decision to give a red card and a penalty it might well have been!

Absolutely buzzing, beat Luton 2-0 today, absolutely dominated them, they never had a shot on target and we absolutely outclassed them. Never had so much pride to be a Halifax fan as I was at the game today, the players have got us believing. Shay was absolutely bouncing too, over 3500 at a non league game is fantastic support.

Well, that's been a surprising week. 3-1 win at Reading, followed up by a 4-1 win at Yeovil. We're very much back in it now, but I'm still not convinced that we'll survive.

It's good to see Jennings is finally looking like the player I expected. Quality.

What was Rose's goal like? I'm not sure he'll ever make it here, despite signing a long-term contract. He doesn't look to have the physical presence.

Absolute comedy gold.

Defender passed it back to the keeper who absoultely miskicked it (didn't even hit the ball I think) and Rose only had to tap it in from one yard out. But I liked his presence when he came on yesterday. Ran around like there was no stopping him and made a lot of pressure. Good game by Rose imo

Bottom of the forum! Racist.

Game tonight against Bristol Rovers. A win would be good bevause we'd be 10 points clear of the relegation zone and a win would lift us into top half. Some Evertonians are coming tonight to watch Hallam Hope play (Everton's twitter promoted the game et al). I'm optimistic and predict a 3-0 win with Hope, Nardiello and Mayor as goalscorers

Won 2-1! We made hard work out of it but we got the three points and that was all that matters. Hallam Hope scored after 60 seconds and Tom Soares got a goal with 10 minutes remaining. As said, this game puts us 10 points clear and lifts us into the top half.

Gutted not to win yesterday Brighton didn't look that great but we conceded 3 awful goals on our part especially the second! Cairney was amazing on his return and scored and set up one but we couldn't defend again when Rhodes scored a pen with 3 minutes to go we really should have won but they scored a minute later which was gutting another season in the championship for us it seems 4 draws in a row and 7 points off the play offs as you say Hammer it is very good for Bournemouth
