Starting At The Bottom

The idea here is to start at the bottom and work my way up to the England job, going by my current FM skills this should take me around 16 years. That's real time, not game time.

Anyway, im using an edited DB and starting unemployed with a Sunday league rep, it didn't take long to get a job, Radcliffe Borough is my new home.

Don't take any notice of the star ratings as it means very little so far down the leagues, though the size of the squad is a big worry.

Think this is actually the worst player i have ever seen on the game.

Tough task on your hands here, bud! I expect a flurry of signings in the near future, lol.

Not played much since yesterday but have made to the start of the season. A few signings have been made but no one of any great quality, though they have helped massively with the size of the squad.





We do have one player in our team that really stands out though, a level 8 player with finishing of 13 is very impressive indeed. Basically my whole season now rests on his shoulders.

Just reading through the data update thread for the one i'm using on SI forums and there appears to be a problem which appears later on in the game. Basically my stadium holds 3000 with 350 seated, but due to the league rules of no standing at grounds i will never be able to fill the stadium, just 350 seats. Now obviously this won't matter until later in the career, but it cannot be changed until if/when your board decide to either improve or expand the stadium and seating.

So because of this i think i'm gonna quit the game now as the maker is meant to be completing the final version of the DB soon which will have the seating problem fixed. I'll probably try again then but i see no point carrying on with this if you kind of hit a brick wall later in the game
