If Norwich lose today I think villa are safe despite getting humped today.

Anybody think that Lambert will get the sack this summer? there seems to be growing unrest amongst supporters groups.

That looked a tad soft. Proper shite defending though

Not sure that he will but he definitely should. There's barely been any progress since last season and Villa look terrible.

Far more positive play, but really shit in the final third.

Not great, but definitely better.

Yeah he's pretty much proof that 'time' is only ever a positive if the manager has the required ability.

Its a difficult job though, and his relationship with Lerner seems decent so if he stays I can't see him going.

Tbf, thats definitely a penalty.

Just grabs Welbeck's arm and tugs him back.

Howard Nurse has just mistaken Kroos, Rues, Götze's agent for a bloke that happens to be a bit fat and bald.

Saw that, what a bellend. Could easily be Peter Kenyon or the Big Show

Speaking of Lambert (and bellends), Collymore has just said Moyes would be extremely interested in the Villa job

West Ham and Leeds supporters have clashed in Birmingham city centre after their games with West Brom and Birmingham City.

Neville and Tyler are doing their utmost to make this game unwatchable.

Why on earth did I think Norwich might nick something?

Maybe it was just a hope it would shut up the Giggs love-in. Nevermind.

In all fairness, Moyes beat the teams in the bottom 3 too

to be honest the best thing for me was just seeing that whenever we got the ball everyone flew forward, or at least aimed to. Which we really haven't seen enough of.

In equal fairness, the fact he failed to beat Fulham at home and got dumped out of the Capital One by Sunderland when both were bottom at the time is part of the reason MUFC dispensed with his services.

Pretty much what Number 1 said.

There was just something different about today as well, a positivity, an optimism, a confidence. Just something thats been missing in this last year.

This.

So enjoyable that match, the atmosphere was far better, players looked happy, just what we needed. I know people will say 'it was only Norwich' but we've suffered so much this season, it was so nice seeing the old United again.

Didn't Moyes also win his first game with a great attacking performance?
