Regens Not Showing on Search List

Hello, im new to this forum so bare with me!

I am currently in my 3rd season with Liverpool, and when it gets to regen day no regens from that year show up on my player search list! When I do find a regen I would like to sign they say they are not currently interested despite me getting Liverpool to be one of the best teams in the world, does anyone know why this is? I am only able to sign crap regens from clubs like Notts County and Burton. Any advice would be appreciated!

Can you be more specific by what you mean by "your searchlist". What filters are you using to try and find regens?

Well when I search, I use the obvious filter which is age under 16, I don't use any specific attribute filters usually. When I do search with the under 16 filter on the best player is a regen from Bolton valued at £325K. I don't know what is happening because Liverpool have the best reputation in England.

I think what's happening is that most very young regens will probably not want to move club at such a young age. especially under 16.
plus, your filter may not show up these youngsters anyway due to them not showing up on your staffs radar due to them being so young.
have you tried signing one that you like the look of?

not that I am criticising how anyone plays the game, but why would you be looking for under 16s for Liverpool anyway? surely that would be your staffs job?

Maybe click the 'assistant manager to rule out unrealistic targets' off and see if many pop up then?

Go to the England page. Players Tab, Transfers-> Youth Intake.

Should show all Regens at all clubs of that nation.

On the 13th of march English clubs take-in youth, you can find your intake simply by going to youth candidates squad which will become on the same drop down menu as u19 squad. Another great way to find "regens" is as burning_phoneix touched on, simply click on the globe near the "FM" drop down menu top right, hit world, transfers tab and there is a drop down menu which should have youth intake. It'll automatically from top to bottom give the the top clubs for regens to appear in. Best to learn this way as there are different dates for different nations and this could extremely increase your chances depending on the time you invest. I can list the dates for some nations;
