I'm trying to generate a son in regular fm, not classic, do i have to be a certain age or anything for it to work? i've been sat reloading for a combined total of seven hours now...

Its a real long shot for it to happen, in all my years of playing FM and the hundreds upon hundreds of seasons I've played, I've only ever had one son.

I'd imagine there's some sort of preset in the game such as you must play at least X amount of seasons or you must be at least X age.

I watched a video posted on the sortitousi twitter feed where someone managed to get a son within 7 minutes. I should be so lucky! I've only ever generated one son, as well, purely randomly, but now I want another!

My son was black and had an afro, ironic because I'm as white as wensleydale.

He was a mediocre goalkeeper too, less ironic because I too am a mediocre goalkeeper.

I'm not bothered if he's good or not, i just want an heir. My last son was Portugese, I'd only been in charge of Braga for a year, and he was hopeless. BUT HE WAS MINE!

To unlock the feature you have to have a player at your club for ten seasons, playing at least one game a season then retire. May have to give him a testimonial as well but not sure.

That's only for FMC. In the full game, you can get a son in the first season.
