An unbeaten start to life in a new league for FC United! We played four games, won two and drew two! Very pleased with the first three games, our first draw we came from two nil down to claim a two goal come back and a point. But the three all draw with Stockport was poor after we went three nil up! We need to cut that out now!
Delighted to be sat where we are now! Up in the playoffs early on and hopefully we can stay around this area this season! We haven't been brilliant t this stage but I'm confident we are still improving! We are the only side in the whole division to be in double figures for goals scored this season! But I feel our leaky defence could cost us this year!

Hopefully its the way we need to carry on!

Thanks sean! Hope it goes on that way!

We have now lost a couple this season but that was always going to be expected. The busy fixture congestion of non league football is back as we faced seven games in just four weeks here. We've opened both the Manchester Premier Cup and FA Cup with wins and hopefully look to defend our Manchester Cup title whilst having another good run in the FA Cup.
Our great league position continues to impress me. We are still up contending for a playoff spot after the opening nine league games this season. We are the only side who have score more than twenty goals in the league so far this season but again our defence hasn't improved that much. Boston United are unbeaten and running away with it at the top.

Six games throughout October and we picked up just one defeat, we played three in the league and three cup games. Poorly played in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round against Curzon but we went on to beat them in the replay. We then upset Nuneaton in the Fourth Qualifying Round to reach the First Round where we face my beloved Yeovil. In the league we picked up two wins and a defeat.
We are beginning to drop off but its not too bad just yet. We have dropped outside the playoffs and now sit down in sixth place but the table is tight up to second as we are just three points away from Stockport and have the same goal difference. Boston United have finally lost but continue to run away with it sitting seven points clear at the top after just twelve games.
Dan
An expected defeat against League One side Yeovil! Never really fancied our chances anyway but we gained a good bit of money reaching the First Round and this game was televised which gave us a little more. A side so many leagues above us still conceded two against us.
Dan
A good link for us, the money is an added bonus, it was these or Burton and Burton weren't willing to pay us anything!!

Dan
Thanks mate, its good so far and the link is a massive benefit to the club thats for sure!

Not a bad month considering the amount of games we played once again. We played seven, won four and then lost the other three. All three of our defeats were expected as we slipped out the FA Cup against League one side Yeovil and then the FA Trophy four one against Luton, same side we lost to last season. We made the First Round in both competition though. We are into the Manchester Premier Cup Semi Final and picked up two league wins from three.
We expectedly lost against Boston United away from home but we have climbed back into the playoff places which is brilliant news and its tight in this zone so hopefully that will motivate us to carry on. Boston United are currently six points clear of second place Workington already this season.

Dan
Thanks Jamie, it certainly will be tight but hopefully we can have the legs on it!
Dan
At the moment, hopefully it spreads out over the next couple of months!
Dan
I think you could be right there!

We've pulled out a massive month just when we needed it! With no cup football during the final month of the calender year four wins and one draw from our five league games, remaining unbeaten was massive for us especially when you look down to the league table..
Thats right, suddenly Boston United are crumbling as they picked up just five points from their five games this month leaving the table very close now! Boston now sit just one point clear of AFC Telford who sit second. We are up to fourth, level on points with third place Workington and just two points off the top spot!
Dan
Well another unbeaten month, we've now stretched to twelve games unbeaten in all competitions. Delighted we are finding our feet in this league and really pressing on. Slightly annoyed we drew three this month but a superb late point against Altrincham when we had ten men. Three clean sheets this month too! Our game against Workington was my one hundredth in charge in just a season and a half!
Boston United stay top but only a point clear of Workington in second place. We've spent a week or two at the top of the table but the draws cost us a little. We have a game in hand on second place as do Boston at the top which could potentially see us go second or even first. We've scored the second most and conceded the fifth least so far this season, very pleased come the end of January.

I'm surprised how well our form has risen lately! Hopefully it can continue until the end now

February saw us lose for the first time in fifteen games in all competition as Hednesford undone our unbeaten streak after wins against Stockport, Southport and then Solihull Moors. We also picked up another four points from the last two league games. We are in the Manchester Premier Cup Final for a second season running, hopefully we can win it again.
We are big title contenders now! AFC Telford are the new and current league leaders as they sit a point clear of second place Workington. We are third a further point behind but have a game in hand which could see us go back to the top! Hednesford are also level on points with us. Boston Unitehave had a shocking couple of months as they are now sitting down in sixth, outside the playoffs!

Its a massive step in the right direction, hopefully we get some players next season from them!
Dan
An up and down month, started slowly as we picked up two defeats in three games, losing out to Halifax and Boston United. We struck five goals in back to back game as we won the Manchester Premier Cup for the second season running and then smashed Stalybridge.
Just as I and some of you predicted earlier this season, its going to be a tight one! With just five league games remaining to be played there are just seven points seperating the top seven sides! More importantly there are two points separating the league leaders to the last side in the playoff spot! Its going to be a tight end to the season!
Couple of decent players for this division, not to much to talk about though.
