Cheers, delighted for him. Not sure he'll make it at United, he had a crap time on loan at Gladbach and then his time at Hull was pretty average so it's great to see him taking to international football so quickly.

United might be too tough for him, but can definitely see him playing for a decent European side in the future. Maybe even Premier League. He's still only 20, he's strong & quick and his goal last night proves he can find the net. With those qualities and potential I'd say he's got a bright future ahead of him. Both those loan spells were hindered by injuries and according to the player himself he's never been in better form partly due to the fact he's finally injury-free.

SkySports on our U21 success:

Belgium may be many people's idea of 'the next big thing' in European football but it's Norway's youngsters ruffling feathers at youth level. Adam Bate caught up with Under 21 coach Per Joar Hansen to find out what's going on and see if there's anything British football can learn.

Bloody nervous for tonight! We're playing fierce rivals Molde away in what can only be described as a league final. A win and I think the league title is ours, even though we're playing Strømsgodset away next week. Three points lost and we're surely out of it.

To those of y'all that don't know the history, Molde were the eternal number two's throughout the superior 90's of Rosenborg. Up until last season, when they under Ole Gunnar Solskjær's management crowned the club's 100 year anniversary by clinching their first ever league title. It's about showing who's boss and win the title back.

We won the title at their ground in 2010 and it would be fucking sweet if we were to repeat that.

If only Jönsson were to be removed from his post, I'd had high hopes for next season.

The new Tippeligaen trophy:

What a ridiculous piece of silverware, not that the old one was any better.

Oh and our youth team defeated defending Champions Inter in the NextGen Series 2-1 last night. Take that!

Hi mate.

You've made a new friend.

Johan Cruyff as an avatar = back at you.

Just hate Molde, the club itself, the staff- accompanied by the fact that Tromso are arctic bitches and Rosenborg are quality.

Tromsø are playing like a Siena helping Juventus to the Scudetto ffs.

Chima Chukwu just rolled the ball into the open goal as Tromsø's goalkeeper tried playing a ball up the field out of position but failed completely.

Nothing against Ole, Jumberto- it's just I always dislike their image really, when I watch them. They just appear quite arrogant- I don't know what the public opinion of the club is like in Norway.

Looks like they've got the title anyway now, fucking hell Tromso /o\

They just seem like a really inoffensive club to me. The reasons I like them are obvious but I don't watch many matches at all so I don't really know for sure. I just don't see how anyone who doesn't have a vested interest in Norwegian football could hate them!

Lots of young players, talented young manager, seem to play football the right way, slight underdogs in the sense they aren't historically successful and up against the might of Rosenborg. What's not to like!?!?!

I don't know, I'm just not a fan of them at all. I have a liking of Rosenborg that stems back from the 90s so that could be the reason- I also do have an interest in Norwegian football.

No Dutch thread but Ajax 0-1 Vitesse currently. Ajax are fucking up in the Eredivisie. 3 draws in a row and now they are behind again. Not lost in 24 Eredivisie games so this could be interesting.

Molde lead by 4 pts with 2 games to go then.
Molde- (h) Honefoss, (a) Fredrikstad
Rosenborg- (a) Stromsgodset, (h) Fredrikstad, (a) Honefoss

Last two matches opposites of each other. It'll be tough for Rosenborg to get the 3 pts from Godset tomorrow- but if they can, they have a very slight chance. They now need Molde to drop points in one of these matches and Rosenborg get 9/9.

Molde 85%, Rosenborg 15% I'd say.

I'm starting to realise it's all over but I have one last hope that a relegation threatened Fredrikstad might stir up trouble for Molde in the last game of the season. With us winning tomorrow of course.

Anyway, this is fantastic news: We've signed on-loan right back Cristian Gamboa permanently from FC København on a five year deal. Five year you say? Really, five??

I'm amazed that our sporting director has finally given a new player a contract longer than his standard of 3,5 years.

Steffen Iversen (36 tomorrow) announced today he'll retire at the end of the season, meaning the game against Bayer Leverkusen 6th December will be his last.

http://pub.tv2.no/multimedia/TV2/archive/01012/IversenKarriere_1012074i.jpg

Unfortunately too many injuries (and the sometimes a bit too relaxed attitude towards the game) hindered him in fulfilling his real potential. To me, he was a bigger talent than Ole Gunnar Solskjær for instance. The vision, timing in the air and technique on the ball made him an outstanding striker at his best. He could have been without the spell in Vålerenga, but still there are many great memories to look back on. Personally, I'll probably remember his two goals in the 2-0 win vs. Valencia at Mestalla back in 2007 best.

It's a bit late, but I am really satisfied that Häcken failed to win the title.

Sadly Häcken's good finances will probably establish them as a top Allsvenskan team for the foreseeable future.

I'm completely indifferent to the club at the moment, scares me a bit. Fredrikstad just went 1-0 up against us, but I couldn't give a damn. If only Jönsson were to be removed before next season.
