It really could, and we would deserve it if we did grab it!
Dan
Yes it is! Been rather close all season but now its time...
Dan
We went into April with five games to play, sitting in third with a game in hand and just a point behind the league leaders. It was tight, no one had a playoff spot or promotion just yet. We had a mediocre end to the season, we were favorites and expected to win all five of our remaining games but ended with three wins, one defeat and one draw at the end of the season against Vauxhall who struck late on, would that cost us potential problems and send us the route of the playoffs?
No it wont! We went on to win the league title! Back to back promotions and league titles for us as we head up towards the Skrill Premier next season! A brilliant effort for us, we've been brilliant all season from the first game against Corby which we won five one to the final day draw with Vauxhall! We deserved the title. We ended up scoring the most this season, by a single goal whilst conceding the eighth least and I certainly don't think thats too bad from a newly promoted side! We are going up!
Last season we played sixty six games in all competitions, this year we've played another fifty three which has taken my games in charge to one hundred and nineteen now in two seasons. With that we've won seventy three (sixty one percent). We drew twenty four and have only lost twenty two matches in two years. We've scored two hundred and forty eight goals whilst conceding one hundred and forty three (goal difference of plus one hundred and five). We've won the Manchester Premier Cup twice, won two league titles and two promotions in two seasons.

Thanks mate, we could of won it by much more but in too many games we slipped up! But top spot and promotion nonetheless, expecting it to get much harder next season!

Thanks mate

Dan
Thanks George, I would of been more than happy with mid table but we've really pushed for it this season!
Dan
Unexpectedly good Shedender, thanks sir!
Dan
Been in charge of FC United for two seasons and now broke the record for all time high finish twice as the top spot of the Skrill North was another new record and as expected with this being our first season in this division ever. And I can already guarantee we will have another one next season.
Deservedly so if I do say so myself. Led a team who are predicted fourteenth, mid table to the top spot in our first season up here.
Good to see the team make a couple of spots in the team of the year once again. This year we had right back Raglan and central midfielder Lawrie named among the starting eleven.
Dan
The board want us to avoid relegation, its something I think we are capable of doing however this season will be very hard! The board have given us sixteen thousand pounds to spend on transfers and then ten thousand pounds to spend on wages so its time to recruit some new faces!
The finances are in great condition, we are just short of two hundred thousand pounds in our balance which is brilliant, we also have sixteen and a half thousand pounds to spend whilst over four thousand pounds to spend on wages! So we can expand the squad now!
This was our player of the season and I think he deserved it! Twenty two year old Greg Daniels had a superb second season with the club and has grown well here. He played fifty of our games this season and found the net twenty six times which pleased me.
Dan
First off we've had a massive bid for Andy Parton. Our strong left and centre back is only seventeen years of age but is attracting plenty of attention from other clubs. The biggest bid for him has come from Aberdeen as pictured above and is just over one hundred and fifty thousand pounds. I looked and he is unwilling to accept new contract talks with me just yet but do I negotiate for more? Reject it and hope he stays or just accept the offer?
Then came this outstanding bid from Celtic! Central midfielder, seventeen year old English born Paul Kellett has also been subject to plenty of bids with Wolves and Sheffield United also sniffing around. However Celtic have offered me a mind boggling nine hundred thousand pounds! This money would do wonders for the club but if he is valued at this much surely he is one to watch for the future? Do I accept it for the money? Try and negotiate a little more? He is willing to enter new contract talks with me so do I reject this and offer him a new three year deal and look to sell him in a couple seasons?
Shedender
As for Andy Parton, see if you can negotiate to get a bit more?

Dan
The money is good for Kellett Sheednder but surely if I can get him on a new deal I can get the money in a season or two?
Parton I can't get much more for, maybe an extra £25k or so
Dan
Its a hard situation. Celtic are willing to loan me Kellett for the remainder of the season but I still wanna keep him and offer him a new deal! I think Kellett also has 25% of next sale on him
t-mase
I would be looking to sell if that is the case then. Make sure it is 25% of next sale not 25% of profit on future sales. I have been shot in the foot on that before.
Dan
May have to I guess, I suppose if I sell them both it will make way for an update to the youth and training facilities which could be massive!
t-mase
There are pros and cons to all sales of players I think the fact is an extra £1m in the coffers with the scope for more if the lads make it big like they are expected too, I would be going for a sale myself.
Your save though mate

Dan
I'm just over thinking it, I like the idea of the short term and the £1mil bank balance but then the thought of a potential 2/3million in a couple seasons sounds even better!
Dan
This is what I wanted to hear! haha! I am tempted to keep Kellett and get him ona new 2/3 year dela then look to sale him after that. I may let the other player go but then again hopefully can talk him around for a new contract!
Dan
This is my thoughts exactly sir! If he is willing to sign a new deal he is happy at the club. Get him down for three more seasons and then he will still only be 20 years old and still developing, probably a massive part of my central midfield by then but as you said hopefully the bid would of rocketted too!
Dan
Transfers Out:
We ended up seeing eight players leave so far this summer and you will notice Parton and Kellett haven't been sold. I went with my gut instinct and keep them. Kellett has now signed a new deal until 2017 I believe which means we have a few more seasons of him under our wing! Seven players left on free transfers with Nolan moving out on loan.
Transfers In:
With a fair few departures it was important I brought new players in as well. We ended up signing six new players, five on free transfers and spending a whole eight thousand pounds on our sixth summer signing. First in this summer was defender Matthew Flynn, the twenty six year old defender provides excellent strength along the back line. Ian Westlake was the man we spent money on. Eight thousand pounds from Histon it now seems steep for a thirty one year old but I know the midfielder we do the trick for us. Joe Clark was next through the door, the twenty seven year old right back/central midfielder provides excellent versatile cover before we scooped Ryan Austin, a player who will be meerly a bench warmer this year, won't be much other than a cover player at this squad. Dan Preston was our penultimate signing this summer, another freebie who I was pleased to capture. At twenty three I feel this guy may have a bright future at the club along the back line. Final signing was Stockport's very versatile Daniel Wishart.
Finances:
So even without accepting the two big bids from Celtic and Aberdeen, which could of seen us earn over a million pounds, our finances still stand in ridiculously good shape right about now. I know its only pre season and we are likely to lose money over the year but we enter the season with just short of half a million pounds in the balance, sixteen thousand pounds still to spend should I need it as well as over one and a half grand spare in the wage budget.
Friendlies:
On the pitch really didn't go to plan, I had another busy summer lined up but with all the coming and goings the squad obviously mixed up a little and we couldn't find any constant form. We managed to fit in twelve summer friendlies, winning five, drawing one and losing the other six. Pleasing to beat Rhyl on the final friendly nine one.
Wish me luck...
Dan
This is the team I've build up to take into the 2015/2016 season! Plenty of players meaning we can rotate when we need to. Plenty of potential in the team and plenty current ability. Hopefully we can press on and survive this season, that will be the main aim for the year. If you wish to see any players stats/attributes just ask and I can screenshot it up.
