Its fitting into place nicely at the moment George!

Dan
Thanks Shedender, its been good to progress the club from where we were! Definitely moving in the right direction now, not sure how much success we will see here but our main aim is to survive in the football league! The budgets are superb!
Dan
Our first ever appearance in the Capital One Cup will see us start in the First Round and we've been drawn against struggling League One side Bolton!

Yeah it is but who knows what could happen!
Dan
Its mainly down to our fantastic deal for keeper Marosi a couple of seasons ago Willz and not spending it on players definitely allows the club to grow! Thanks man!

Transfers Out:
We had the usual casualties at the end of the season, mainly youth players leaving the team, I think in total sixteen players left in the summer. We then lost three players in the summer, two free transfers and then the one loan deal. No money has been brought in to the club this summer on transfers though.
Transfers In:
Well, this could well be our busiest summer for new faces joining the team, in total seven players have joined the squad this summer, and all I consider to be first team quality and ready to step up to the plate. First in this summer was twenty nine year old Tommy Fraser a twenty nine year old defender who can control our back line and our new captain. Striker Wes York next in, we do have a couple more strikers joining too. Another centre back, twenty eight year old Charlie O'Looughin joins for free. We loaned right midfielder Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Sheffield United, hopefully the young man can do a job on the wing for us. Three more freebies were soon to come, Irish striker duo John-Joe O'Toole andhttp://i.imgur.com/pYQS1FY.png could be our new strike partnership whilst last through the door was eighteen year old defender Marc Adams.
Finances:
Television rights have boosted our finances, we are now back up to half a million in our balance which is superb for a club of our size in League Two Hopefully we can continue to build this up over the next few months and remain in a stable financial state. I had to move the budgets a little, we are now spending twenty thousand pounds on wages but do still have three hundred thousand pounds to spend on transfers.
Friendlies:
Up and down all summer on the pitch, four defeats, four wins, little to talk about.
Dan
Thanks Kieran! Its a slow building process!
Dan
The squads definitely growing year on year and this season I'd say we have another good team, perhaps not the team I'd like to have in this division but for now it will do, hopefully! Notice how Kellett and Kendrick both still have a five star potential in League Two! Both are still young and growing players. We have a fairly young side it shows. Hopefully my couple of Irish strikers can lead the way this season.
Dan
Have that Bolton! What a comeback that is! Pure brilliance! We trailed to Bolton at the break after Woodlandgave them an eighteenth minute lead. We performed brilliant second half, Wes York leveled for us before Byrne netted a ninety third minute penalty to send us through to the Second Round! Looking at the stats, we dominated the game too!
A nice draw awaits us, a home game against Premier League club Sunderland! Whilst we are likely to get absolutely smashed around, we should sell out and make decent money from it!

Dan
Yeah we've had a couple of offers from St Johnston and Motherwell but usually Celtic in the calling Sean!
Dan
Well, welcome to the footballing league FC United of Manchester! We've definitely hit the ground running in League Two by claiming nine points from a possible twelve in our opening four games of the season. We've also managed to reach the Capital One Cup Second Round, where we eventually got bowled over by Premier League club Sunderland at home, epect though.
We are all the way up in sixth in League two, occupying a playoff spot this early on. However I don't expect us to stay anywhere near this level. We've had a lucky start, hit the ground running. I just hope we can continue picking up points against any lower table sides, not that there should be many.

Dan
Thanks George, its been a great start, very unexpected thats for sure as was the win over Bolton!
Dan
We are still in the FA Trophy despite now being a League Two side, the only League club in the competition which isn't a huge issue, but could get annoying, we are also still in the Manchester Premier Cup which is a non league competition!?
Shedender
Dan
The Manchester Premier Cup we should now walk! But the FA Trophy still won't be easy! But it could get fun when we eventually get to be a Premier cup if we are still in all the lower competitions! haha!
Dan
Well September continued in the way we left August, high rolling with results flowing in. Two wins and two defeats in the league, we can't complain too much from those results. We also knocked out League One side Oldham in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy first round, our first ever appearance in the competition. Along with that we advance in the Manchester Premier Cup which we should win without a doubt.
We slip down to eighth, how crazy is that, our first season in League Two and after the second month I'm saying how we've 'slipped' down to eighth. We've got a game in hand on everyone apart from Gillingham who we face. We can move up to third and into the automatic promotion spot should we win the game in hand! Disappointingly we have conceded the most in the top ten so far.

Dan
Certainly is a great idea Kieran, I can't deny, it will seem ridiculous if we are still in these cups when we are say a Prem side or even Championship but as you've said, if I go about it right, using key under 18 players could really build them up over time!
willz121
Dan
Thanks Willz, its strange how well we've started as I was expected it was going to be hard from the start, hopefully we can secure mid table come the end of the season. As for the cups, its almost an extra incentive however if we were to get to the prem and get into europe we could have a massive fixture list!
Dan
We played nine games in thirty days! nine in thirty! It was crazy! We played well though, picking up four wins, three draws and two defeats, make that three defeats because we crashed out the Johnstones Paint Trophy on penalties which annoyed me a little. Its been a mixed month though. We are still in the FA Trophy and Manchester Premier Cup which I fully expect us to win!
Who would of predicted this! After fourteen games in the league this season we are up flying high, sitting in a playoff spot just a position short of an automatic promotion slot. Now I'd rather win the league when we go up but I know we aren't ready to go up this season! So I almost hope we slip down the table a little.
