It's hard to referee games when people are flinging themselves to the floor over slight contact.

Can you blame the ref though, doesn't give the penalty probably gets shot in the street somewhere.

Anyways put a $10 free bet on Neymar, woke up just on half time checked the score, 1-1 thought the worst, seen Croatia scored first then did a double take on the name cause I was still half asleep and saw it was Marcelo. Went hold on he's Brazilian, ended up winning the bet so had a happy morning

As many of you have said, the referee was horrendous last night, not the way the World Cup should of been kicked off especially with Fred 'simulating' to win a penalty. He was shit all game and to make a name for himself goes down when someone blows on his neck!

Not impressed with Brazil, you can see they are not a team, lucky for them they have some great individuals and also have the home ground advantage.

Croatia could have gotten more from this game, but they played with some sort of fear which hampered them.

Hmm I dunno, they all seemed to work their socks off regardless of the poor attacking player - Neymar was absolutely fucked when he came off he never stopped, neither did Oscar, Luis Gustavo or the two wingbacks.

It was a disjointed performance for sure but to write them off for it would be silly.

I don't think they did 'play with fear' at all. Brazil couldn't break them down until Freds cheating.

If any of the Neymar sending off, penalty call or disallowed goal had been called correctly they'd have got a draw at least.
