We're going up as champions! We tallied up 105 goals en route to the title with Danny Mills getting 25 of them for himself. Out of the whole season, we only led the way for the final 3 games of the season, not too dissimilar from Man City's recent success in the Prem. The semi-professional Hawks are going to the Football League baby!
Would be very difficult to argue anyone other than David Viana to get player of the season. Our Portuguese playmaker managed an absurd 31 assists in the league whilst bagging 13 goals too. Of course top scorer Danny Mills had a wonderful season and young sensation Alex Staley finished up with 16 goals and 12 assists, attracting major interest from Reading.

Some not so good news. Umpteen Premier League sides had come calling for Alex Staley and, whilst he was happy to stay, £1M in our current situation financially was impossible to turn down. I'll retain 35% of the fee (£350k) for maneuvering in the transfer market, which is HUGE for a newly-professional side in League 2. Our squad is down to the bare bones now so brace yo' asses for some transfers. Thanks for your service Alex boyo.

Made a lot of movement in the transfer market as you can see. I'm pleased with how it went for the most part, strengthened vital areas and did so with good players. Didn't spend the money on that marquee player that I wanted to really tear up League 2, but I remain optimistic with months to go until the next window for some extensive scouting tasks.

As promised, a MAJOR shake up for this year. I've let practically every player that has contributed to my success go. Cruel as it may be, the facts are - they aren't good enough for this level, they aren't going to improve and they certainly aren't getting any younger. I've brought it some really bright talents and some players who can make an immediate impact. This is how the dealings look at the beginning of the league campaign, but I'm not sure if I'm done there.
