Thanks George, we've started this season well thats for sure! Crouch was a dubious signing because of his age but he is doing well here in league two!
Dan
Well, another busy month but another superb one for us! We went on to face eight games during November, winning six of them and losing just twice. We played in four different competitions as well this month. Advancing nicely into the FA Cup Second Round, where we face Leyton Orient. Into the Second Round of the FA Trophy to. The Manchester Premire Cup sees us reach the Semi Final once again whilst we picked up six points from a possible twelve in the league, including a six two win over Luton where Peter Crouch netted four!
We are now down to fourth and occupying one of the first playoff spots available for the end of the season. However We do have two games in hand, win one of them and we can move up to third or even second on goal difference. Win both of them and we can move up to the top of the table and be in control again! We are fast approaching the halfway stage of the season!

He is thirty seven! Past his best but for a League Two striker, top notch!

Thanks mate, was a steal getting Crouch and if I remember correctly he currently has thirteen goals in eighteen games which is fantastic for him!

Neither could I buddy, we have had the chance to sign Jay Spearing and Joey Barton too, but don't want to overload the team with oldies when our younger players are just as good!

He is only twenty nine, but still my assistant only rates him at 4 stars!
Dan
Bolton have approached me for the second time this season, rejected again!

They are a mid table League Two side currently chap so not really getting any better!

We continued a superb and long unbeaten run all the way up to the final day of December where we ended up being smashed by Rochdale, no idea what went on there. We are into the FA Cup Third Round, where we face Premier League side Crystal Palace. We managed ten points from fifteen in the league to which was pleasing enough, four clean sheets was good from seven games.
We are sitting fifth, but have three and even four games in hand on some of the teams this season but that doesn't mean a lot. I'd much rather the points than games in hand but hopefully I can manage to press on and we can continue picking up points. We just need to keep playing the way we are and put the Rochdale howler behind us.
Finances are taking a real bad turn! We are now minus one million pounds! Hopefully we can turn it around with a strong league finish!

Thanks mate, we've been impressive thus far, however it was from here on in when our form began to turn against us last season so having those games in hand may not be as valuable as you think, much rather have the points on the board!
Dan
We went on a decent unbeaten run, what happened against Rochdale I couldn't explain we were atrocious! Thanks man!
Dan
Well an average looking January, perhaps maybe a little better as we did only lose twice in nine games to kick off the new calender year. Picking up four wins, only two in the league though whilst we also reach the Semi Final of the FA Trophy. We narrowly crashed out two nil against Premier League side Crystal Palace in the FA Cup Third Round.
Our games in hand continue to tot up, we now have between four and five games in hand on everyone else in the league and with them could go top and easily clear. However I know our form could bet about to dip any time with playing so many games in one season.

Yeah plenty to play for, much rather have the points on the board though! Didn't make much, we are still in the red unfortunately!

Exactly George!
Dan
Yeah I know pal, however it makes it so much more tougher and potentially more enjoyable!

Eight games to battle through in February and once again the team performed well, especially tall striker Peter Crouch who netted his twenty first goal of the season in the one nil win against Fleetwood before missing the remainder of the month injured. We picked up thirteen points from a possible fifteen in the league this month as we played very well, we crashed out the Manchester Premier Cup in the Semi Final, Droylsden Under twenty ones knocking us out one nil whilst we face a trip to Wembley as we have reached the FA Trophy Final!
Up to second and we still have four games in hand on league leaders Southend! All the opposition now have just eleven league games remaining, we have a massive fifteen to fit in the next couple of months but I'm hoping we can continue battling away in the league. Especially now we don't have the Manchester Premier Cup Final and only the FA Trophy Final left to play for.
Dan
I feel disgusted by this performance! We were awful, the stats back that up, the team didn't want to be there, I was horrid by watching it! We need some big words now!

Dan
Thats one word for it! Everything that could of gone wrong seemed to go wrong!
