Haha makes sense now! Thanks mate
Dan
Another unbeaten set of fixtures but the issue is too many draws slipping into our game, we picked up just three wins this month but only one came in the league where we faced five games in that as well as two games in the cup. We won both three nil, beating Cammell Laird three nil in the FA Trophy First Qualifying Round whilst knocking Carlisle out the Johnstone's Paint FL Trophy in the Second Round. Five more clean sheets but four draws this month!
We've lost the top spot, but we are still in contention thats for sure as we remain unbeaten whilst Scunthorpe go to the top of the tree. They sit just three points ahead of us after fourteen games whilst we sit level on points with third place Doncaster and fourth place Colchester who have played a game more than us. Plymouth and Crawley round up the playoff spaces just a further point behind us in second.

Dan
Thanks Johno, here is his stats over the last two seasons with us:
Last season he finished with 26 goals in 47 games whilst having 11 goals in twenty games this season, he's definitely been worthwhile signing!
Johno
Dan
Haha thats Peter Crouch alright!
Dan
Another nine games were battled through during November, only two were in the league meaning we are already playing catch up with a lot of the other teams! We lost and drew out league games whilst we managed to reach the FA Trophy Second Round after wins over AFC Fylde and Dartord. The Manchester Premier Cup Semi Final after a win over Hyde under twenty ones. Unfortunately out the Johnstone' Paint FL Trophy after a quarter final defeat from Doncaster in a poor showing. We are into the FA Cup Second Round after beating Bolton 15-14 on penalties in the replay.
We are down to twelfth but read little into our position at the moment as we do have two and even three games in hand over everyone this season! I fully expect us to pick up six points from our three in hand which would at least send us back up to the top spot and a point clear but for now, we'll just keep battling away!
Johno
Dan
Yeah but as I said, its only because we are so many games behind the others, if we take advantage of these we will be right up there fighting for the top spot again!

Dan
Yes we are to date, just need to pick it back up and go again!

Dan
Thanks as always Jamie, I fully expect us to end up around the playoff area, if we can sneak into promotion, even better!

Good luck as always mate, I am enjoying reading this!
Dan
It is a little Shedender but if I used my mind and actually swapped to my reserve/under eighteens for those cup competitions we'd be fine fitness wise!
Dan
Definitely mate, we could win this league if we keep our form up and now the cup competitions will die down over January/February I'm hoping we can press on again.
League one and league two have very little difference in quality thats for sure but as you said, the championship is another massive step up

Dan
Brilliant sir! Yes it was! haha

Another unbeaten month, fantastic for the club to get back on track! We ended up facing just six games this month due to a couple postponments which I wasn't going to complain about thats for sure. We picked up seven points from nine in the league, beating Leyton Oriend and Port Vale by a goal to nil and grabbing an important point away at Middlesbrough! We are also through to the FA Cup Third Round where we face fellow League One side Coventry City whilst Histon netted late on to force us to a home replay in the FA Trophy Second round.
Picking up those seven points carrys us back up the table a little and puts us in good shape once again this season as we go into the turn of a New Year. Its strange to think that most teams have played half their league games this season now, we are still four or even five games behind some teams, meaning we can go top and four points clear if we were to win all five, thats unlikely but it should at least fire us back into the playoff area.
Dan
Finally we have reached a new era as we have crossed into the year 2020 and what a start to the New Year! A little disappointing that we played just two league games in the seven game haul for the New Year where we picked up a full six points from the games. We are into the FA Cup Fourth Round where after a draw we face a replay at Championship side Hull in February. We are also into the FA Trophy Fifth Round where we face Wimbledon.
We are down to thirteenth come the end of January but look at the amount of games in hand we have! We have seven or even eight games in hand on the competition and winning just two of them could see us fly up to the playoff spot. We are also only ten points off the top spot, win all our games in hand and we could fly clear in the league this season!

Dan
Thanks George it definitely worked against Middlesbrough and sometimes we need to set up like that to win! We are playin well this season and as long as we remain on course for our games in hand there is no reason we can't take that top spot!

Dan
As always thanks man! Our games in hand are proving to be vital!
