Great work to be out the relegation zone and still have 3 games in hand!

Thanks George, there is one hell of a long way to go yet!

It'll be annoying having to change the squad all the time though.

Yeah thats true, we shall see, maybe I'll just go for the trophy count

October 2020

Whatever I try isn't working, we had a torrid month in the league picking up just one point from a possible eighteen and its not a pretty view looking at our fixtures. On a bright note we did win our FA Trophy game but as for league form, there isn't any!

Our games in hand could be vital, we slip down to twenty third and only above West Brom on goal difference. We have one, two and even three games in hand on some teams, if we can find a small wining running we could release a lot of pressure on the club and fear of relegation but right now, I see no answer!

November 2020

After a month of all but one red dot we've turned it around to produce a month containing just one red dot! Only played three league games, picking up a win, draw and defeat which saw us take four points from a possible nine Into the FA Trophy Second Round as expected, easing through just as we did the Manchester Premier Cup Quarter Final!

Things have hit rock bottom, we have hit rock bottom! Its not looking good, we have three games in hand and just knowing if we won all them we'd be up to eighteenth would reveal a whole load of nerves! But I'm sure we won't win all three, good news is at the moment we are only two points away from climbing out the relegation zone!

December 2020

Another tough, expected month, we faced six former Premier League sides this month, Reading, Ipswich, Birminghm, Fulham, Aston Villa and Stoke which was just a nightmare. We beat Fulham and picked up an early point against Yeovil but that was all the good news to come out of this month. Into the FA Trophy Third Round as expected. In the FA Cup Third Round we faced Premier League side Swansea.

I don't really know what to say at the moment. We are now halfway through the season, the rest of the teams are more than half way through now and beginning to pull away from us as we remain bottom of the Championship come the end of the 2020 calender year. We are only five points from safety and twentieth place but its going to take a lot now to get there!

I really don't think you can worry about this until the season is in March, there have been plenty of times where teams seem marooned and then all of a sudden they put some form together.

I would also expect the board to stand by you even if you were relegated, simply because of the growth. No matter how frustrating, stick with it bud! You've certainly got the ability to do it!

Thanks man, admittedly with the games in hand we will have throughout the season it is likely to come down to the final month or so! But we just need to battle through and see if we can escape!

Unlucky Dan! It was already going to be very tough in the championship considering how far you have got them! The games in hand could still save you yet there is a long way to go!

January Signings...

Found this young Italian on a free transfer. Wages are a little high as expected now we are moving into the higher divisions. He is a very good defensive midfielder and should be a great holding midfielder for the team for the remainder of this season!

On loan from Ross County Sam Claus seems to be another very good centre back to join the ranks. Hopefully he can sure up our back line a little bit and stop us conceding so many.

Another defensive player joins the ranks, another free transfer. Charley Davies is a player who is already valued at over one million pounds after signing for us this January. Again a player I hope can instantly fit into the team and fight to keep us up.

German defender Leander Siemann joins on loan from Furth looking for first team football. He should make it straight into our team and do the job!

De Guzman is an aging player but at 33 the Netherlands midfielder will definitely help provide cover and support in the middle of the park! Happy we've brought him in!

Thats the effect I'm hoping they will have on the squad, we've improved in the right areas, just need it to pay off now!

More than likely the final signing of January. I've spent £100k on Gary Lavery from Wrexham. A very good striker who can hopefully do the business for us and take the club forward again! We need a goal scorer, just hoping Gary can produce it now it counts!

And on his debut..

perfect!

January 2021

Well, another mixed month. Unfortunately we couldn't make a run in the FA Cup this year, Premier League side Swansea knocked us out in the Third Round, winning one nil late on. We are into the FA Trophy Fifth Round as expected, winning in the Third Round and the Fourth this month. We picked up four points from a possible twelve in the league, beating Derby three nil, lets hope thats the turning point!

Wow, we are fifty one points off Reading at the top of the table! Unbelievable! However we were never aiming there this season, nothing like it if I'm honest. We are aiming to survive this season, meaning we need another six points from our two, three and four games in hand we have this season! We win two of them and we could well move outside the relegation zone for the first time since August!

The draw with Crewe must've been a tough one to take bud, but need to look out for the games against Bournemouth, Burnley and Posh to give yourself a leap frog.

How are your finances looking? Would relegation be a big hit, or would the current wage structure survive?

It was, it should of been ours to take! We face Burnley next and hopefully we can beat them, thats what I'm expecting anyway! Finances are in the red and relegation would make things a lot worse!
