I have a lad come through my youth intake who is already first team quality at the age of 17 and has potential to be one the countries best players, he has been playing fairly regular in the first team but he has a fairly aggression rating of 14 and has so far in less than half a season been sent off twice (both for 2 yellows). Generally my side has an excellent disciplinary record and i'd like to keep it that way but at the same time I don't want to get rid of this fantastic player so what can I do?

Any tips on how I can get the players aggression reduced and try to stop him from picking up so many cards? I issued him a warning for the first sending off then fined him 1 weeks wages for the second which he reluctantly accepted after a chat, but I need to stop this happening before he gets sent and costs me a win.

Player instructions try changing his tackling to easy and maybe get someone more experienced, who does have a cool head to tutor him.

With the latter though take a look at the tutors & tutees determination Ratings and make sure the first is equal to or higher than the 2nd.

Hopefully that will push him in the right direction. More match experience should also curb this trait.

A high aggression stat by its self won't make a player get lots of red cads, but coupled with a high dirtiness attribute (hidden) it will. Don't think there's anyway to reduce that either.

I've set him to be tutored, reluctant to change his tackling to easy unless the problem persists or worsens.

Thanks for the advice.

poor decision making, positioning will see that aggrerssion come out more in the tackles, some leadership required
