Thinking about getting an Xbox One, maybe this weekend or during next week. I considered the PS4, but Gran Turismo is the only PS exclusive game i'd be interested in whereas XBO has Halo + Forza.

Possible wanted list:
EA Sports UFC
WWE 2K15
Mortal Kombat X
Halo 5
Halo Master Chief Collection
Alien: Isolation
Mad Max
Forza 5
Project Cars
Assassins Creed
Fifa 15
PES 2015

I love that there is finally a Mad Max game. Project cars is probably the game i'm most looking forward to, it looks amazing. You get a good idea of the range of cars just from watching the trailers.

Only 4 of them games are exclusive to next gen. I still think it's a tad too early to be buying a next gen console.

Personally i'd get Forza Horizon 2 if you want a racing game, the nextgen version has a lot more to offer plus the game will just be brilliant too.

Demo is out in 2 weeks also.

Aye it's built on a new engine. The one on last gen is using the old engine. Never played the Horizon, but they look like a great simcade racer.

I'd still get Project Cars though. What are the racing wheel options like on the Xbox one?

Soundtrack has finally been announced too

For Forza Horizon 2, Playground Games has teamed up once again with renowned festival organizer and BBC Radio DJ Rob da Bank to curate a massive and eclectic soundtrack ranging from rock and pop, to the latest dance and electronic music. There’s something to suit every driver and every mood – because who doesn’t love listening to music in their car, especially while cruising the exotic roads of Europe?

You might recall Rob da Bank as the same DJ who curated the original Forza Horizon soundtrack, or as the mastermind behind Bestival – one of the largest music festivals in the world, located in the UK. For Forza Horizon 2, Rob approached the soundtrack in the same way he’d approach one of his own music festivals, from big names and classic tracks, to fresh new music and bands. As a result, some of the songs handpicked for the game have also made their way onto real-life radio playlists, festival stages, and club dance floors this summer.

“Working with Rob again on Forza Horizon 2 has been a fantastic experience,” said Ralph Fulton, Creative Director at Playground Games. “Rob just knows music, and hears the latest tracks and the hottest artists months ahead of the rest of us. He did a fantastic job with the original Horizon’s radio stations – people still talk about it as one of the great video game soundtracks – and this time, we’ve allowed him to be even more creative.”

In fact, Forza Horizon 2 features nearly 150 tracks across seven stations – more than twice as many songs and stations as the original Forza Horizon. You’ll start the game with three of the Horizon Festival’s stations pre-tuned on your in-car radio: Horizon Pulse, Horizon Bass Arena, and a new station called Horizon XS. Get ready to listen to music from artists as diverse as Chromeo, CHVRCHES, Nero, The Clash, and Jane’s Addiction. As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock new stations with an even broader variety of music to accompany your European road trip.

Rob da Bank also reached out to his friends in the music industry, to include radio stations from three of his favorite independent record labels from around the world: Hospital Records, Innovative Leisure, and Ninja Tune. Be sure to check out as-yet unreleased tracks “Believe” and “Slipstream” from Metrik on Hospital Records Radio; three brand new tracks from Bass Drum of Death’s upcoming album (releasing later this year), including “Electric”, “Everything’s the Same” and “Lose My Mind” on Innovative Leisure Radio; and last but definitely not least, unreleased new tracks like Roots Manuva’s “Krunk Guide” and Andreya Triana’s “Better Days To Come” on Ninja Tune Radio.

Finally, there’s Radio Levante which plays soothing classical sounds. What could be better than exploring Tuscany in an open-top Ferrari while listening to Vivaldi’s “Concerto for Four Violins?”

We recently got a chance to chat with Rob da Bank regarding his work on the Forza Horizon 2 track list.

“The original [Forza Horizon] was my first time doing a video game soundtrack,” Rob said. “I’d never done it before. It was a really big process.”

Rob has created soundtracks for other projects, including television shows for the BBC – but he describes video games as a “new world.”

“It’s brand new, and very exciting. I’m a little fish in a big pond here, but I really like the challenge.”

Forza Horizon 2’s soundtrack – much like Rob’s personal taste – is an eclectic mix of songs that stand the test of time. With stations spanning multiple genres, racers can switch from rock to electro to classical, depending on their moods.

“I’m really chuffed with the final mix,” Rob told us. “It matches very closely with my tastes, there’s nothing on there that I don’t love.”

Check out the Forza Horizon 2 music stations and full track list below. For a sneak peek at a few of the cool jams you can race to starting Sept. 30, check out the Best of Forza Horizon 2 playlist!

Project Cars + Horizon 2 could be a great combination of games. I know they were having some issues getting it to 60fps on the Xbox One though, but it should be there.

Can't wait to race a Formula A car on the Nordschleife. Imagine the chaos if it just starts raining after passing the pits.

It's going to be great with VR aswell.

Will have to say Madden 15 on 360 is a pretty solid game. Gameplay mechanics have been improved across the board, shame we don't get the nice presentation from Next Gen, but we keep gameface. Loving the defensive changes and the skills trainer actually seems fun to use this year with the gauntlet. Aim this year is to complete it, and out A-Rod as starting QB from the Packers... Not fully released yet.

But they're still adding to it now (announced Aston Martin the other day), and would imagine they will after release. So far: http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/project-cars-car-list.305494/

I've got the first Forza Horizon and liked it a lot. But its just not something I feel i'd definatly go back and buy again. I'm hoping that with next gen consoles they can make Horizon 2 into an amazing game. Some of the stuff i've seen about it looks promising so far.

Not a Naughty Dog fan?

The Last of Us never really appealed to me. I'm mainly interested in fighting and racing games anyway, which pretty much left me with a choice between Forza or Gran Turismo as Project Cars, WWE, UFC & Mortal Kombat aren't console exclusives. I love both Forza and GT, but I just prefer Forza that little bit more. I get the impression with GT that they go for quantity over quality. Also I have played every Halo game there has been so far, so I don't really want to stop now and move to PS4 for a game i've never actually played (Uncharted). Yes I could buy both consoles, but they still cost about £340-£350 brand new and I really do need to save up my money at the moment.

Didn't Naughty Dog make the old Crash Bandicoot games? They were awesome when I was a kid, I spent so much time on Crash Team Racing

Anyone else got Madden 15 on PS4?

Got this 2 days ago, much prefer 2k's my career in NBA over EA's in Madden but I will give the other modes a go before I write it off. I have it set to rookie as I haven't played a Madden game since 08 and I don't get to watch much of it here in Aus so there is soo much about it I don't understand and I have found it far too easy to advance your player. I have just started my second season and am already a 99 rated player. It is ridiculous how easily I have accumulated XP points as opposed to the same difficulty on NBA.

The gauntlet is fun though however like I said there is a heap of terms I don't quite understand yet in the game so will take time for me to really get into it.

Just realised how out of the loop I am when it comes to games. I think GTA IV is the last 'story' game I bought. Planning to buy and complete all the 360 gen games I missed out on/never got around to playing.

On another note, I'm planning to eventually get a PS4, but I was wondering is there away to play the Unchartered games on the PS4?
