Excellent topic thank you. I'm particularly shocked by the fall of Boavista - they are now sure to be my next save.

I think there could be a topic on club's that are new money no history or have potential based on location and stadium/facilities. These are things I usually look for in the lower leagues when picking a team.

Preston North End in England is another interesting choice. They won the double in 1888-9, didn't lose a match that season and won the FA cup without conceding a goal.
