Pot Noodle And A Can Of Redbull

Firstly, sorry about the title but i couldn't think of one and as both of those items are sitting in front of me i thought why not?

Anyway, you may as well get to know me a little as this will hopefully be a long journey together which would be better spent as friends rather than strangers. I've played all but just a couple of versions (late 90's) of the game since the very first back in 1992. In fact my teenage years were spent playing football over the rec, Championship Manager, Sensible Soccer, drinking MD 20/20 and fingering girls (as a staff member i probably shouldn't have said that). I used to be very good (at CM not fingering you dirty minded sods), hours would fly by on my trusty Amiga as the magical 4-3-3 formation i used won me trophy over trophy. Towards the end of the decade my now not so trusty Amiga lost its life due to old age and over use and as PC's were now the new thing to have and i couldn't afford one, it was no more CM for me. I finally bought my first PC in 2000 (iirc) and of course i added a copy of CM 99/00 to the bundle and my gaming continued once more. The internet came about and i found this place and within a year i was on the staff, i've probably been staff on and off a dozen times or so since but thats another story. But in 2010 something happened that to this day i do not know how or why, but in the simplest possible way of explaining it i became absolutely fucking awful at the game. I mean don't get me wrong i'd have the odd decent 'save' but in the grand scheme of things i'm not ashamed to admit i just could not return to my former winning ways on the game. I'd see you lot have amazing careers where you'd win everything in sight and there i was me lagging behind quickly losing my patience with the game. Actually i think patience is probably the biggest attribute you need to succeed at this game and in an FM scale of 1-20 you guest it, mines a 1!

But that is hopefully gonna change now, win lose of draw i'm determined to simply carry on no matter what, rather than hide away in embarrassment at my pathetic attempts to be good at the game.

So the game is loaded with all leagues from England, Ireland, N Ireland, Wales and Scotland. I also loaded all players from the Essex Senior League and the Ryman Leagues. I've given myself a National B coaching license and Sunday League playing experience. I'm unemployed and currently holidaying.

So we've now played 6 league games, losing the first four but winning the final two. We do seem to concede a lot, in fact a bloody load but i don't care as long we can just stay in the division.



We also seem to have a fantastic young striker by the name of Jordan Burrow, he's 22 and or though his stats are not great but he's managed 16 goals in 19 starts including all four in our 4-2 win over Southport last time out. He's also valued at £98k which is pretty good for a Conference player.



I've also sacked my assistant purely as i didn't like him, he did nothing wrong and didn't have the worse attributes in the world but some people you just cannot take too no matter how hard you try.



In his place i've managed to bring in Jamie Redknapp, not because i think he'll help but simply because i wanna 'smash' (Richard Keys) his other half. I've got him on a five year deal too so plenty of time to work my magic. I'm also fairly sure her biggest hit 'Naked' was written for me, i think Jamie also know's this but is deep in denial.

Played Rochdale, lost 6-1 Despite actually matching them in chances and overall performance. In fact it seems quite impossible to win away from home, here's my record so far (including cup games).
