Scorpio v2.1 for FM 2015

This skin is designed for 1920x1080 resolution. It should work with other resolutions but I don't test every single panel with every possible resolution. The skin has a small sidebar version and a DF11 facepack compatible version. If you're using a smaller resolution I'd recommend using the small sidebar version.

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE POSTING!
If you have an issue please read the comments to see if it has already been fixed. Also make sure you have updated to the newest version.

I will NOT fix issues related to using different zoom levels. If you use any zoom level other than 100% you will have problems.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A PM if it is about an issue you are having with the skin as it is much better if all issues are posted publicly so that other people with the same issue can see my reply.

Installation Instructions

Step 1

Download the skin. Make sure you delete any old Scorpio folders.

Step 2

Extract the files (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).

Move the folders inside into your skins folder:

Win Vista/7/8: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2015/skins

Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.

DO NOT COPY THE CONTENTS OF THE SMALL SIDEBAR AND DF11 FOLDERS INTO THE SCORPIO FOLDER

Step 3

Start the game and go to Preferences screen and Interface tab.
You should see "Scorpio”, "Scorpio (DF11)" and "Scorpio (Small Sidebar)” as options in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Choose the version you want.

Hit the Confirm button.

You know the number behind the players face, can you not put it in the empty space at the bottom underneath the Nationality Flag/Badge and put the clubs logo in its place behind the face? or if not just make the face central? it would be so much better and the skin would be perfect for me

Or if not could you tell me how to do it or give me soem code to copy and paste?

Open Scorpio/panels/titlebar.xml and delete this:

Just saw your edit, the instant result button is dark grey in the next release, so it won't stand out as much.

Yeah, I got sick of having to go through menus all the time to find the info I wanted, so my main aim with the skin is to have all the info you need right there at a glance but also try to keep it looking sleek and not too cluttered. I love the sidebar SI added though, I tried to make a sidebar for FM14 but never finished it.

This is because you have to replace the correct images in the skins graphics folder in order to change any images used by that panel.

SI seem to have changed quite a few locations of things that I'm still struggling to find where they've put the controllers for instead.

thanks a lot for your job, it’s great!
But could you tell me how to change the text size in your skin (I mean not the size in preferences in FM, but in the skin)? I tried to change these parameters in wannachupbrew FM2015 settings.xml:

<integer id="text_size_small" value="10" />
<integer id="text_size_normal" value="11" />
<integer id="text_size_large" value="12" />

but it was no use.

Also I unpacked by Resource archiver for FM14 the archive skins.fmf in Data and copied it in My documents, changing the same parameters in settings files. Nothing.
After that I attempted to replace the font (for bolder one because the standard font is too thin for my eyes) and I put my font *.otf (changing its name for HelveticaNeueOTS.otf) in the folder Fonts, but it didn’t help too. The unpacking of Fonts.fmf and font files replacement also were useless.
Could you give me an advice how to enlarge the text size or change the font in your skin, please?

Loved this scoreboard last year...I actually made the font/logo's larger......hopefully we can come up with a similar one this year.....I tried some of last years pieces of the scoreboard without any luck yet....

Hi

Both folders have to be in the skins folder so please as you stated do not remove one.
Have you updated your game to 15.0.2 ?
Also make sure you do not have the skin inside another folder for example...

sports interactive/football manager 2015/skins/scorpio skin 1.3/scorpio & Scorpio (Sidebar Labels)

as this will make the skin not show in the drop down menu on the preferences screen.
It needs to be as follows.....

sports interactive/football manager 2015/skins/scorpio & Scorpio (Sidebar Labels)

Hope this helps.

EDIT

Leave the config files alone..if you move the one from the Scorpio skin it definitely will not work!!
Also ....do you know there is a video titled How to install the Scorpio Skin (very useful)
