FM WeeGie have released a new version of their Football Manager Data Update. It now includes all the latest squads and transfers following the close of the summer transfer window. Not only that but it also includes updated leagues and finances for clubs around the world, so you can try and get a better start than Southampton in Premier Division or save Rangers from the depths of the Scottish Third Division.

Hi,

I am not very good at the whole extracting process etc...when i download the file it stays at a DBC file right?

Do i need to do anything with this file?

if so using what programs?

I have tried to just drop the DBC file into the relevent folders and created ones like u said and nothing has happened.

sorry if this seems stupid but can u break it down for someone like me please so i can install in.

Hi gibbo, have you remembered to enable the data editor files when creating a new game? It should say "1 enabled (1 in total)" at the bottom after you click "Start New Game". If not click change and you should see a page like this make sure FM Weegie is ticked.

You should start new game and select this one update in the first screen (choose database, lowest one tickbox)

yes i know about clicking the little black square for the changes to apply. But before i even get that far, this new update is not showing up in the database drop down list. Only my default, and previous 12.2.0 are highlighted. So it's not picking up the new download somehow.
I created a "editor data' file within my documents on Sports interactive as shown above?

Hi, I started playing with this file, after pressing continue a few times it came up with news 'transfer window is now open' and skipped back to 1st January 2011?! I don't have a fixture until august... why has this happened? thanks

There's a bit of a problem with the 'Transfer' save file as when i try to load it, the box pops up 'The save file could not be loaded'. However, it doesn't happen to other saves i have that do not have the transfer update. What do i do?
