Where's that older 'keeper Arsenal signed in the summer? Injured?

Yeah, he's injured according to physio room and won't be back until around the middle of December.

Arsenal will get back into this yet.

Edit: If De Gea gets subbed off.

Sorry guys, didn't mean to jinx it.

Is this really United's first away win all season? Bloody hell.

Our worst start for 32 years, yet Wenger will be as safe as ever.

To be fair, and I know it's no consolation, but Arsenal really should/could have won this. In fact, that may make it worse. My bad.

Poor from De Gea, makes you wonder what would have happened if all our other attempts weren't straight at him.

I love that you'll even go so far as to suggest De Gea didn't have a good game.

If we didn't have De Gea this season we'd be so much worse off.

Great result. We needed that win.

He made a lot of saves you'd expect any PL keeper to make. The closing down on that Ox chance was the pick though, that was good. Can't say much more than that.

Poor quality from both sides in that game, but it was entertaining.

Sorry? He did nothing more than i'd expect any keeper from any league to do, there wasn't one 'good' save needed.

Yeah, alright.

We'll just ignore the Chamberlain thing.

Young coming on was crucial. Surprised to be saying that.

One of the most satisfying wins for a long time that due to the fact we didn't deserve it at all.

I often criticise Rooney but he did a great job on Arteta today and was very good. RVP is becoming a bit of a problem though.

I'm still gutted about leaving Welbeck go tbh. RVP in decline and Falcao has injury problems.

Had it not of been on his much weaker left side it would have been different. The actual shot he took would have just about reached the goal line ireckon but Blackett was there anyway.

What about the save from Wilshere?

Was straight at him, in fact he almost dived past it and saved it with his feet iirc.

I guess i just expect an international keeper to be making the saves today quite easily. And the one save he actually had to stretch a bit for he pushed it into the top corner...

Why on earth didn't Wilshere pass it to his left, open goal for Alexis.

If you genuinely can't understand why he was impressive today then there's really no point in arguing about it.

He played well, but if he'd conceded from any of them shots, you'd be extremely disappointed. Superb is going over the top.

De Gea was the only reason we weren't 2-0 or 3-0 behind at half time.

Yeah he can only save whats in front of him and he did exactly that. Just because Arsenals finishing was poor doesn't mean he didnt have a good game

Nobody said he didn't have a good game. Just that every save he did make, you'd expect any keeper in the league to make them. He was solid. Nothing more, nothing less.

Going by MotD, the referee for the Everton/West Ham game (Clattenburg I think) was fucking shocking.
