This league style reminds me of the lower leagues of Brazil from my Pentagon story in FM12, so random and hard to adjust to!

Well done on reaching the play-offs mate. Hope you can lead them to promotion!

Just scraped into the playoffs through some weird league tables. If this was the format of the Premier League for Champions League places, who the hell knows what would happen.

Thanks Shedender!

Well Kez, because RJSHL won the third period they had a playoff spot and couldn't claim another one. So basically the 'league playoff spot' moved down to third place, where we were!

I do enjoy this league and the setup here in Belgium Charlie! Thanks mate, promotion would be nice but who knows!

Hahaa luckily it isn't the rules in the premier League Henry but we cope well enough! I enjoy it! thanks buddy!

Somehow we sneaked into the playoffs and right now we were in a fantastic position. We really felt like promotion could happen this season. It wasn't meant to be, we were possibly the most underdog side of all underdogs left in the playoffs. But we would give it our all.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/cQZiTZbu3awfZ4h9pkXetEdBSVBw85bXM7FXqGvd.png

Ah we came close. The first league we traveled away to Derde Klasse A playoff hopefuls Torhout and fail to a defeat by a single first half goal. Some poor defending allowed them the chance which they rightfully took which earned them the first leg win.

Second leg we looked to improve but still struggle. Triantafillis gave us the lead after just six minutes bringing us level on goal difference. And despite us leading on the night at the break we switched off and allowed Torhout to net three after the break. We pulled one back through substitute Charlet but it wasn't enough. A four two aggregate defeat killed off our promotion hopes.

Think this is a fair review of the season from the board. They were happy with our performances in both competitions. Reached the fifth round of the cup at the start of the year which was an over achievement before finishing third in the league table overall despite being predicted eleventh. We really proved to play above our expectations and maybe next year could be our year!

So pre season is complete and for the second season running I am in charge here in Belgium and look forward to competing in the Derde Kllasse B. However I found a few issues through pre season. Despite making some transfers and losing some players, I quickly realised my squad wasn't expanding nor decreasing. All the transfers are set to go through in 2014. So we have to wait 12 months for the transfers. We are again predicted to finish eleventh in the lead, but I'm sure we can muster up a challenge. However here is a run down of pre season.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/7bRhF80VXSjjdAfqKbIRY56oKQowHXX9QDvLY3fQ.png

We faced just five friendlies over the summer and we didn't surprise many people at all. We had a fairly average pre season and it doesn't look great going into the new season. However if we can start the new season the way we ended the last we could surprise people in the league. Three draws, one defeat coming against the leagues top side Standard before winning the final game beating Sprimont one nil.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/IsPv4LoVFPv2bosnjA6goGCRM2CvQLhxLj7RDccY.png

Here is our team report going into the second season. It doesn't look too bad. I realised there is no keeper on the report, that because we lost our keepers to free transfers, one is still at the club and won't transfer till next year, so he will be our number one as my signings are on hold till next year. Defensively we are strong and upfront we look strong. A bit of a weak midfield but one I know we can rely on. A very decent season could be on the horizon for us.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Rh08GOb1M9PFIKHvpnLhXu9xtQiIQYEyBmD6TGhu.png

Here are our finances now heading into the second season. We made a strong 45% profit last season so this year we are finally looking to add more money to the bank. Having £45k in the balance now is fantastic and with no transfer budget or wage budget, being an amateur club, we can rely on that and keep it coming in. We will play for another strong season...can it be?

I duno Zan! It could be but there isn't much I can do about it. We did lose a couple players which actually went through. But some didn't go through to leave or come in! Weird!

Same BOWC! its something to build with their relationship! Both are quality strikers too! The transfers are there ready just says they will be completed next year. Bit annoying.

Thanks George! was a good season come the end

So promotion via playoffs wasn't to be last season and after a mixed pre season this year we are back to compete in the Derde Klasse B and hopeful of a repeat performance. A stronger league start would be preferred this year but with five games in the opening month and two in the league it has been a strong start.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/yVHvaMBysRkn0rBuw8zNvBzBBb6y4b5ePPNlyahi.png

We began the second season in the Confidis Cup and traveled to recently relegated from our league Bocholt. A relatively straight forward tie was secured by a single goal late on in the second half. Mourchid netted just twelve minutes from the end to force us into the fourth round.

We were then drawn at home against Belgacom League side Boussu where we upset the odds and beat them! A strong first half showing saw us hold our own. Second half we took the game to them and two late goals from Frederic Tuta secured the win. Tuta netted with fourteen minutes to go before grabbing a second in the last minute of playing time! We were into the fifth round.

Our first league game of the second season here in Belgium saw us travel to Woluwe-Zaventem. Again we failed to take many chances and this could of cost us. However we grabbed the only goal in the first half which came through Kose just before the half hour mark to secure a winning start to the league.

Next came the Confidis Cup fifth round. Once again we were on the travels as we went to league opposition Ciney. A very confident showing saw us run out two nil winners and head into the sixth round, further than we got last year. Triantafillidis put us infront from the spot after twenty seven minutes. Our second came after the break when Mourchid secured the win with a placed shot inside the box.

We ended the month on a slightly sour month as we welcomed Verviers. We didn't turn up and found ourselves one down almost instantly. Second half we managed to level with Alageyik netting confidently. However we slipped to defeat as we conceded a second and failed to get back into the game from that.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hArYsSLNTr8HQ7lehdUpauvH7q3cZCAwQzLR5hWW.png

A mixed start in the league thats for sure. We could of done better and should of if we had beat Verviers but it wasn't to be on the night. We sit eighth after two league games but that will improve over the season I'm sure. We are also on a nice Confidis Cup run and already moving into the sixth round shows how strong we are. Just need a little more focus in the league now.

A mixed league start had been made whilst the cup run was perfect in the opening month. The second month of the new season looked pretty promising too and now having played it, taking a step back looks brilliant for us. but I suppose I better run you down on what happened. Here are our five league games of the month.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6DH8MMVhpdgugES1ZPq8j75OPK0oCdXi2iprJXPM.png

Brilliant! Four wins from five! The month started at home as we welcomed RC Waregem and managed to pull off a confident win. Both our goals came in the first half. The first from Alageyik who slotted home confidently before McMahon netted his first of the season just moments before the break. Second half we continued to make chances but failed to take them, we grabbed the win though.

Our only defeat of the month came when we traveled to Oudenaarde. A poor showing on our behalf saw us not compete all over the pitch and a second half goal was enough to send us to defeat.

Next came one of last years big clashes, we welcomed RJSHL and as we both fell short in last years playoffs we both wanted the win. The first half showed how neither side wanted to blink first. Second half we went for it and it paid off. Yalic netted just three minutes after the break as the team talked seemed to have rallied the troops. We secured the three points with half an hour to go as Mourchid broke free to net.

We traveled to Huy next and despite being tipped to win comfortably it was closer than expected. Mourchid put us infront early on but soon after Huy leveled. We added our second before the break as Triantafillidis netted a free kick. In the second half Huy proved they weren't lying down easily as they draw level for the second time in the game. But when Mourchid broke free to net his second of the game an our third it was enough to secure the three points.

We ended the month with our fourth win from five as we welcomed La Louciere Centre and again we were expected to win easily, which we didn't. A narrow game could of gone either way, luckily for us, it went our way and with another clean sheet we claimed a one nil win with Frederic Tuta netting.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/oJUNTmHyRMXzJ1oe7HI5qRlfeX9SJ3fKOBRubRHF.png

Here is the league table which is the same as the 'period one table' obviously. We have just three league games left in period one and we are definitely in with a shout of the first playoff spot available. Sitting fourth just a point off Woluwe-Zaventem who knows what could happen in the next three games. But the form we are in I hope we can prove a point now! Three big games await us.

Another fantastic month for us with four wins from five again, all four wins in the league. It started with a trip to Tournai where the Tuta brothers stepped up their game to impress with a goal each. Cedric Tuta put us infront early on before Tournai leveled before the break. Second half it was his brothers time. Frederic Tuta netted three minutes from the end to secure the win.

We returned home to welcome Grimbergen and our fine form continued to flow. We may of just secured the win but it was the three points we needed. A close first half was opened later in the second half as Kose netted with half an hour to go as he came off the bench to wrap the game up for us.

The final game of period one saw us face a trip to Tienen and come away with a nervy win. Frederic Tuta put us infront after nineteen minutes to bring belief of a playoff spot but Tienen came back at us and leveled before Frederic Tuta netted his second of the game. Second half we added a third as Mourchid made it three one for us. We went on to concede a second but we held on, but would we of done enough for a playoff spot?

The first game of period two saw us extend our fine league form as we welcomed Diegem and right now we seemed unbeatable. A poor first half from both sides saw the game scoreless come the break. Second half we improved massively and once Diegem were reduced to ten men we started to play football and Molino came off the bench to put us infront with fifteen minutes to go. We added a second late on in injury time as Alageyik secured a fine finish outside the box.

Our final game of the month saw us return to Cofidis Cup action where we faced a big game. We traveled to Jupilar League side AA Gent, never an easy place to travel to. Frederic Tuta gave us a shock lead after thirty three minutes however come the break we were back level. Second half we just couldn't stand up to the true force of AA Gent and conceded a second as we slipped out the cup, but to a respectful team.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ARCrFh8lK6GLN2wETsq1oqDDiCP7gxuu1AjVVXsp.png

Yahoooooo! The season is still young but we have already done it! But the hard work won't be done yet! We have to keep up the hard work and who knows, may even secure the top spot and earn promotion straight off. The playoffs are secured now for the end of the season though.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/lLHuXaGYA48ixyOHRWuI8e9i2No7jEJyjMkhBKc6.png

Here is the table come the end of period one! We had done it! With eight wins and two loses from the opening ten games, period one proved to be a steal for us as we claimed the top spot. Four points clear in period one and the overall league table sees us flying high as we enter period two. Our hard work must continue for the rest of the season now.

Here we go again. With period one done and dusted and the playoff spot for the end of the season already wrapped up, we now had to face up to the challenge of remaining top of the league and forcing the automatic promotion spot to finish top. This month saw us face another five league games, but were things about to get wobbly.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/wcWw4eD7hFPAyiqoYlrBMr2r9fxJylmI62mobNjV.png

Not the best of months but still plucking the points. We began with the first vs second clash in the league as we travel to Dender. Luckily we were good enough to record a win and claim all three points. Frederic Tuta had a blinder. Opening the score after twenty two minutes we were in control. Second half Dender leveled before two goals in the final five minutes from Frederic Tuta saw him clinch a hatrick and secure us a three one win.

Form began to drop from then on and as we welcome Kelmis it looked like our playoff spot was effecting our form. Neither side managed to make the break through over the ninety minutes and maybe we were too relaxed through the game, it cost us two points!

The came the big hit. Our first league defeat in what seemed like forever. We traveled to Union SG expecting a clost encounter however it wasn't to be. We slumped away and never looked like winning the game. Union SG netted twice before the break and that was that. They had beat us and put an end to our fine form. We would need to recoup from this.

As we welcomed Ciney our form was still in the balance. Once again we failed to win, stretching to three without a win as we held out a nil nil draw. Its not good enough. But it is better than no points.

The final league game of the month saw us travel to struggling Olympic Charleroi. And Finally we managed to find the net and pick up our first three points in four games. A third clean sheet in four games is fantastic. Seddoh put us infront three minutes after the break with the opening goal before a late goal from Cedric Tuta two minutes from time ended the month on a high.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3nbQoxNMEqtx2bcbLPvapzPxi1FYaBgAZeycbSwJ.png

Here is the current situation in period two! We are sitting all the way down in eighth however its not as bad as it seems. We have played one or two less than every team in front of us meaning we can climb above them should we take full advantage of the games in hand. So its not as bad as it looks.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/snpswCmnL18coveCwXfJx4Uzm6KzuLoa3nKZJ85k.png

The overall league table is still looking stable with us remaining to defy the odds at the top of the table despite playing one or two less than the chasing pack. Two points clear with two games in hand is great for a club predicted to finish eleventh this season. Our defence is tighter than last season however we are scoring few and far meaning we need to make the most of the opportunities we are making.

The final month of the calender year and 2013 has been a pretty decent year for us all in all. The playoffs were reached earlier in the year and this season sees us already secured a playoff spot for the end of the season and the top spot so far. But how would we cope in the final three league games of the calender year?

http://fotos.fotoflexer.com/c0d134d3a0bf233d6bebbaa508425152.jpg

Another fantastic month for us as we play catch up with the rest of the clubs. We began the month at home welcoming Woluwe-Zaventem and recorded our third clean sheet on the bounce with a confident two nil win. Vincent George put us infront just seven minutes before the break and grabbed his and our second just seven minutes from full time. A fantastic start to the month.

Our second game of the month at home and final of the 2013/14 season saw us welcome Ath and that unbeatable streak continued. But it was just a fourth minute goal which sealed the game. Cedric Tuta managed to beat the keeper to a ball and knock it into the empty net.

We ended the month traveling to Verviers where we not only recorded a final win of the calender year but also secured our fifth clean sheet on the bounce. A phenomenal performance from striker Cedric Tuta was enough to secure us the win. An opening goal four minutes from the break sent us on our way before the second and final goal, fourteen minutes from time wrapped up the calender year.

http://fotos.fotoflexer.com/aad0ab94f46a4e63d8ccae4ecf1470dc.jpg

We've played catch up in the season and in period two and now we are back on top! With nine out of twelve of the games played now in period two we are once again in the driving seat following the latest three wins. However winning the second period won't give us anything extra, just continuing to play for pride.

http://fotos.fotoflexer.com/67d10df8f1b4a9f17d8d756908934dbc.jpg

The overall league table is looking almost a walk in the park right now yet I don't want to stitch myself up here. However we are playing well and now we are top of the table by eight points over half way through the season we are in good shape. With a playoff spot already secured we are fully focused on the top spot now.

http://fotos.fotoflexer.com/73cf77b0f1dfa94e54612baed4de22a9.jpg

We are at that stage in the season again where the competitive games stop and we have a month off. Well this year just under a month but we have three relatively straight forward friendlies to play over the winter to keep the ball rolling so to speak.

Another winter break has come upon on and passed through. A confident three games were in order for us as we looked to just continue our fine form in the non competitive games and keep the morale high whilst we could.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3Ln4kpUO5bMY6yUPA0DmDVJqQZhmElGPrBBcypnk.png

There it is, a confident showing as expected against these 'weaker' teams we faced over the month off. Three friendlies all at home picking up two wins and a draw certainly is good enough from where I'm standing! We are sitting comfortably in the changing rooms preparing for the remainder of period two and the season.

We now had back into the season, January will see us face three games which will round off period two before setting us up nicely for the final twelve games after that. We are in the driving seat...at the moment.

So the first month of the new year is here and we had to be at our best to continue the fine form we've had this season. We were top of period two heading into the final three games of the period. But were we able to continue to finish top, however it wouldn't give us anything more to finish period two top as well.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xFPi69g2VIQMmdrZGWvyzkepvwT8hKxqU8YlCSIj.png

Not the best of months but it will do. We returned to competitive action with a trip to RC Waregem. A narrow game saw us take the lead two minutes before the break with Cedric Tuta finding the net. Second half we were reduced to ten men and in the final ten minutes we conceded to see out a one all draw.

Things improved slightly as we welcomed Oudenaard and walked away with three points following the five goal thriller. We took the lead through Triantafillidis well struck free kick before we were pulled back level. However we went into the break in the lead as Cedric Tuta calmly found the net. Oudenaard weren't going to lie down quietly and soon after the restart they made it two all. We went on to wrap up the points fifteen minutes from time as Alageyik netted outside the box to the far corner.

We ended the month and period two on a sour note as we traveled to RJSHL Fleurus. A poor game from us saw us reduced to ten men early on and from then on were on the back foot. A goal just after the restart from the home side saw us end January level at one all.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ITeIvgJA9PnQ5abhFSSDUXX6l8iNV64cPz99UvP8.png

Period two has now came to an end and once again we finish on top. This is fantastic for us however doesn't make any difference to us as we are already in the playoffs. We beat Ath by just two points come the end but it will be a second playoff spot becomes available in the league now.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/MLpDyS0NbTFmuGa7o6POyMbwbS9ppXhCsxCH4LRK.png

As I said earlier to Zan there are now two playoff spot available in the league due to us winning period one and two. This doesn't change anything with us we will continue looking towards the playoffs at the end of the season but we will also hunt down the automatic spot. We are in control at the minute and may be by eight points but we didn't have the best month but still on top the tree.

Back to a full month of action. February saw us face just four league games as the season begins to wear thin now. Just making sure we are on top come the end is our main priority now. With four more games to take the chunk out the league table could we stay top.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/PTXIRnu2JEdYNgTtqIScDT8aclFeSZ7oWoLdnxzx.png

We began the month at home welcoming Huy and despite expecting to win by a bigger margin we ended up slipping to just a one nil win. Our only goal of the game came through Bellia in the second half. A great substitute who nodded home the corner confidently.

And as we traveled to low lying La Louviere Centre we slipped to a one all draw in a poor showing. George put us infront after five minutes as it looked like we could sail this game. However from there on we turned off and conceded before the break before we ended up running out a one all draw.

We returned home to welcome Tournai and things got worst in a seven goal thriller. We found ourselves two up in twenty minutes as George netted for the second game running before Kose doubled our lead. We conceded one before Tuta made it three one. However we then conceded twice before the break and a fourth after the break to slip to a four three defeat.

The final game of February saw us improve as we traveled to Grimbergen. A great game for us saw us rush into a two goal lead within half an hour. After the break we went on to make a third goal with Frederic Tuta making it three nil. Late in the second half we conceded one but held strong for three points.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/GgcuGwepoTT5cyln2ppJDpocGCkFCaXPo9Tn5Lgb.png

Period three has started poorly and after the opening four games of the period we really aren't looking too good. We do have a game in hand which can see us rise up through the table. However there is another eight games to go in this period yet which we can press on through.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/rREMZCJyc66ePBVW1oGvSrqRuWfA85Zmzs2MaqWW.png

Even picking up just seven points from a possible twelve leaves us sitting top. We are still five points clear from the chasing pack and do have a game in hand but we are confident the run can continue now till the end of the season. Just eight league games left for us now! We are so close to our first piece of silverware over the last two years. Its close for us now! Almost in touching distance.

March was another closing block for us as we looked to extend the lead at the top and close in on the title for us. We are certainly providing word around Belgium as we continue to over achieve this year sitting top of the table with just eight games to go. Three wins here could certainly see us almost clinch the title.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/dylzj8FXyWWe8BNMayQqTYL2U3Txl129nCKcGsCB.png

March began with a tricky home tie welcoming Tienen. A strong performance from us saw us come away with all three points just as we needed. Frederic Tuta fired us into the lead after just three minutes and within half an hour we were two up as George managed to double our lead. Second half we were reduced to ten men before conceding one but we held on.

As we traveled to Diegem for the only away game of the month we were confident. Another strong performance from us saw Cedric Tuta this time open the scoring after twelve minutes and moments after the restart in the second half we netted again. This time Bellia grabbed a rare goal as we went on to wrap up the three points by netting twice and keeping a boosting clean sheet.

However the final game of the month destroyed morale. We returned home to welcome second place FCV Dender and we recorded our worst result ever. A dire performance saw us two nil down at the break and despite lashing out at the team for an improvement it didn't come. We ended up continuing to slump as we were reduced to ten men and ended up losing six nil!

Period Three is continuing to stress us a little as we continue to struggle this time and this could cost us the title come the end. The six nil thrashing from Dender saw them fly to the top as we sit fifth just three points behind them. However we still have five games to go!

So the league table has tightened as second place Dender take a chunk out of our lead. We sit just five points infront of the chasing pack now and it certainly won't be an easy run in for us. We need to be at our best over the last five games if we want to finish with our first piece of silverware.

April, the penultimate month and a month that saw the league title close in for the final two games. But before that we faced three league games, huge games for us to win. But heading into the month with our keeper injured meant we had to start with a defender in between the sticks for us.

Not the best results as our wobbly period continues. We began the month away from home as we traveled to face Kelmis and without a regular keeper we struggled. We fell one behind in the first half and shortly after the restart were two down. As the game neared its conclusion we finally started playing our football and a fine double by the Cedric Tuta saw us secured a point.

However as we returned home to welcome Union SG we lacked a decisive edge which saw both sides fail to find the net. It proved to cost us as we slipped to another draw, this time a goalless one but all these points we are propping are costing us as the title bares in.

We ended the month back on the road as we traveled to Ciney and finally won our first game in four. It may not of been a fantastic win for us but a one nil win is better than none and it raised the morale in the club that little bit higher. The only goal of the game came in the second half as Haidara came off the bench to slot home a tidy header from a corner with just over half an hour left to play.

Ten games of the twelve are now down in period three and as you can see we are not going to win all three periods this season. However FCV Dender are just a point away from securing a playoff spot for the rest of the season. We can still secure a top two finish if we can see out two wins in the final two games of the season and period.

As you can see, FCV Dender don't need to win period three this season as they have qualified through the league for the playoffs come the end of the season. They are also on the verge of catching us in first spot. We sit just one point clear in the table right now. FCV Dender have definitely been on form during period three and now we are on the verge of blowing our strong lead we once had.

May, the final month of the season and with two games remaining everyone at the club were eager to achieve the unthinkable at the start of the season. We were just two games away from securing an automatic promotion spot. With one game at home and one away we needed to find our feet and be our best in these two games, nothing but two wins will be good enough for us.

We began the final month at home welcoming already relegated Olympic Charleroi and ran away with a narrow two one victory as we certainly were not at our best. We took the lead before the half hour mark when Cedric Tuta was brought down in the box, he was the man to take and covert the penalty to. Come the break we were still ahead but after the restart Olympic Charleroi were back level. Luckily for us Cedric Tuta had a second in has back pocket as he scored with just under half an hour left on the clock to give us the win we needed.

So here it was, the final league game and nothing but a win would do as we traveled to eleventh place Ath. Luckily we scrapped through again with a single goal which came in the second half of the game. A good break saw the ball crossed in where Mununga was there to bring down and fire home from just outside the six yard box which gave us the lead but most of all...

Wahoo! On the final league game of the season we finally received the message we've wanted to see for the whole of the season now. We could of won it earlier if we didn't blow our eight point lead but that doesn't matter. We now have the league title and promotion is ours!

Here it is, the final league table and what a fantastic league season it has been for us as we finish in the top spot after a fantastic season. I managed to guide the team to the top spot even if it ended up being by just a single point over the chasing FCV Dender. Don't be fooled by the table, FCV Dender, Woluwe-Zaventem, Union SG and Verviers all achieved playoff spots, its just a late screenshot of the table. Either way we are going up!

Following winning the league we went into the 'Derde Klasse Champions Playoff'. A two legged game against the Derde Klass A champions which happened to be Aalst. Luckily they didn't prove to offer too much competition. First leg saw us welcome Aalst and run away with a confident performance after going behind we leveled by the break as Frederic Tuta netted for us. Second half we went on to dominate the game and we took the lead through Bellia before we wrapped up the first half with Yalic netting with half an hour left on the clock.

We ended the season on a high as we beat Aalst for the second time in our final game of the season. Recording a comfortable six two aggregate score there was only ever going to be one winner. The second leg was ours from the start as George fired us into the lead after eight minutes and Nkoy grabbed a rare start to double our lead after twenty two. Second half Nkoy grabbed his second and our third, late on Aalst found the net with a consolation goal but we had already ran out winners by then.
