Scorpio v2.1 for FM 2015

This skin is designed for 1920x1080 resolution. It should work with other resolutions but I don't test every single panel with every possible resolution. The skin has a small sidebar version and a DF11 facepack compatible version. If you're using a smaller resolution I'd recommend using the small sidebar version.

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE POSTING!
If you have an issue please read the comments to see if it has already been fixed. Also make sure you have updated to the newest version.

I will NOT fix issues related to using different zoom levels. If you use any zoom level other than 100% you will have problems.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A PM if it is about an issue you are having with the skin as it is much better if all issues are posted publicly so that other people with the same issue can see my reply.

Installation Instructions

Step 1

Download the skin. Make sure you delete any old Scorpio folders.

Step 2

Extract the files (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).

Move the folders inside into your skins folder:

Win Vista/7/8: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2015/skins

Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.

DO NOT COPY THE CONTENTS OF THE SMALL SIDEBAR AND DF11 FOLDERS INTO THE SCORPIO FOLDER

Step 3

Start the game and go to Preferences screen and Interface tab.
You should see "Scorpio”, "Scorpio (DF11)" and "Scorpio (Small Sidebar)” as options in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Choose the version you want.

Hit the Confirm button.

Your resolution is too small, you will only get everything if you run it at 1920x1080

Scorpio- is without the side bar labels
Scorpio (Sidebar Labels)- Has the sidebar labels
Scorpio (DF 11)- is adapted for the use of DF11 Facepacks

Don't use the side labels version with the beta. The beta has side labels by default.

you can see that the 2 players have the same white color , so it needs a fix .. thx in advance !

Oh yeah, I forgot the sidebar panel has issues with transparency, you have to actually restart the game for it work properly, just refreshing the skin won't work. Also if you change from the scorpio skin to another skin it will stay transparent until you restart the game. Its an issue with the 'accent colours.xml' file.

fixed it by downloading a file and replacing it as you mentioned in a previous comment. I have to zoom in as standard 100% is too small, my windows 7 is zoomed in to 125% also at 1920x1080. Another problem when zoomed is the season stats on the player screen.
As you can see, all the words and numbers don't fit on player profile, any way to fix this?

I did actually play around with the fonts a bit. Reseting and reloading the skin solved the problem with the missing top bar.

Extract the players folder into "skins\Scorpio\graphics\pictures. There's a black version included too and you can just rename it from "none black" to "none" if you wish to use the black one instead. It's a little different from the default. It works with any skin, including the default.

The regen faces are significantly smaller than the megapack faces. I could resize them by changing the "scale_picture" value to true, but then it would overscale the megapack pictures too, which I don't like. I wonder if there's a any other way to resize the regen faces to match the cutout faces? Without resizing the cutout faces that is.

EDIT: Okay I found it myself. I changed the container default height to 180, added default width of 200 and then changed the scale_picture value to true. It seems to works, although it removes the 20 pixels gap from above the player picture, which is kinda annoying, but this shall do for now.

Okay I just downloaded the beta version and I love it. Those white borders around the panels just make it SO much better. Such a small thing making such a big difference. And it seems like that workaround I had for the regen faces doesn't really work if the team has a tall logo. So if you know a way to force the regen faces to 180x180px it would be great.
