In my experience, runtime errors are usually associated with memory limitations in XP and Vista - dont know if that helps, but if you have a modern PC and GPU I cant imagine FM causing many headaches in that department.

Im assuming this is a save and your trying to play a certain match? if so the best thing is to holiday the save past that match then if might work, but dont do anything else that you may have done before the match.

This can fix the problem but only if its a set game/date if its every save of match then have you edited any files etc

I suggest you try setting the 3GB switch. It worked for me.

To enable the 3GB switch:

Right-click on the Command Prompt icon in the Accessories program group of the Start menu. Click Run as Administrator.
At the command prompt, enter: bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072
Restart the computer.

To disable the 3GB switch:

Right-click on the Command Prompt icon in the Accessories program group of the Start menu. Click Run as Administrator.
At the command prompt, enter: bcdedit /deletevalue IncreaseUserVa
Restart the computer.
