With them predicted to finish 3rd, and only 6 points off the top, it wasn't going to be a hard job to get them back to the right part of the table Dan!

February 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/4oCN0bT1S8S2vb9F87NEM6cm44wlUVXamV9MQY2l.png

We played just four games in February, seeing us take eight points through two wins and two draws. We overcame Walhain thanks to a seventeenth minute striker from Fondaire.
La Louviere Centre held us to a 2-2 draw. Cascio found a goal just before the break, but the point was secure when Lanslots got our second in the second half.
The match against Izegem proved to be a real test of our character. Not only did we see a red card in the seventh minute, but we also scored an own goal! Despite this, goals from Lanslots and Dahman saw us take a well earned win!
A thrilling game followed against Bocholt. We took the lead though Cascio early on, and were two one up at the break thanks to Cascios second of the game. He netter in the eighty sixth minute, in what looked like to goal to secure the points for us. But we conceded late into stoppage time to deny us two of the three points.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/gVuKxStoORXKUvpz83Ia28jYEtqzpOzuwMcYngJe.png

We're still going strong in second place, having now closed the gap to just a single point! We could have been top but for the stoppage time equalizer in out last game! The pressure is now all on SW Harelbeke, it's their spot to lose!

March 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/e2FAZ8wJ9wOBRVB3YCXDTvoSYZtEPvYvPnQX7cEg.png

Our fantastic form continued through March, seeing us win all four of our matches. A 4-1 victory got the month underway. Lanslots netted a hat-trick, along with a goal from Dahman.
Francs Borains looked to resist our dominance in a match where we looked destined to take just a point. We waited until the second minute of stoppage time at the end of the game to find our winner, provided by Lanslots!
Cardon was the star of the show against Berchem, scoring a brace in the first half. A 2-1 victory on this occasion.
Another 2-1 victory followed against Wetteren. Cascio and Cardon both scored in the first half, ending the month with a perfect record!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xcj6LLzbD9ppaIjNnXGHJx6SvAx98L2CaZR44AME.png

Another great month for us sees us jump to the top of the table, taking advantage of the torrid month that SW Harelbeke had. Not only are we top, but we quickly established a six point cushion too! Were in the driving seat now!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/d5FnXFuCieCiYXiqtJkeubD5XCFnnkPVVbpKNu1T.png

My first coaching license has been obtained! I now have my National C License, the first of many I'm hoping to acquire sure this career, although this is a start that will help me land better jobs!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/zEFQMzSGBEdQTnTKdskVDLNXGMSgIsWCYjkCjYv8.png

And the final game of the month saw me take charge of my 100th match as a manager! This is just a small number compared to what I'm hoping to achieve in this career!

April 2018 - May 2018

My time at this club unbeaten came to an abrupt end against Westhoek. A goal from Dahman had us on level terms just after the break, but then a sending off which changed the game! Our ten men couldn't hold off the pressure, and we ended up falling to a heavy 4-1 defeat.
Norman service resumed against Kapellen though, Dahman and Fondaire on the scoresheet in the first half to lead us to a 2-0 victory.
SW Harelbeke couldn't hold their lead against us. They were 2-0 up before goals from Fondaire and Cardon bought us back level. They regained the lead. again only to be pegged back seven minutes from time thanks to Ngoie. Gueye then converted from the spot to give us the lead for the first time in the game, with five minutes to play, which wrapped up the league title.
Our final game against Ronse had no significance for us, though we went out there to win still. Goals from Dahman and Lanslots bought the points back in a 2-1 victory.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/oPZX88OTi9dL62UnVVqgS8bb7czi5sGSfpntEVkZ.png

We're crowned the champions with a nine point margin in the end! We've secured our spot in the next division, though I'm a little confused about what happens now, as we've got a Third Division Champ. Playoff game to play! However, I'll get to that in the next update!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/nOunHBYEoAufJ5NCSsPwuEGl3BIh1Kfn1NFNtejK.png

And finally, the message to confirm that we've won the division! A fantastic moment as I've taken the club from ninth, six points off the pace, to winning the league by a nine point margin!

It turns out this match was just played out between the winners of the Belgian Third Division A and B, just to determine a champion of the overall tier of football. Well that's my understanding of it anyway! So, without me actually understanding what it was about, I went all out to take the win, which we got! A second minute goal from Cardon was enough to seperate us!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/a473QEbeumDUNVvh3yh7CrEX8VKz7QlB90sS3KzZ.png

And here's the message to confirm we had won the Champ. Playoff! A fantastic achievement as we were outsiders to win the game! I'm now looking forward to the new season!

Pre-Season 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/PezRDbXkNxX2QuFOpoVy0O4zXlJNrAWpB9IfkBKW.png

We had an extremely busy, and tough pre-season this year, playing teams of much better quality than our own, including Anderlecht, Braga and Montpellier. Understandably, we lost alot of the games, but they were mainly arranged to give us a financial boost, so I'm not too disappointed with the results. However, I'm not happy with the thrashing handed to us by Lokeren. 10-4 is absolutely abysmal, whether they're loads better than us or not, we still shouldn't be conceding 10 goals! Ahwell, onwards and upwards, let's get into the league season!

August 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6PUAHGp1QlGzlFJT2kiCgJZEd4Tg86Z3ICTRq1wF.png

We kicked off our league season with a draw, 1-1 with WS Bruxelles. Hakizimana got our goal late on to take a point for us.
A 3-1 defeat against FCV Dender. Cardon netted his first of the season for us, but we weren't good enough on this occasion.
Another defeat followed, this one against a strong Westerlo side. Lodders scored for us in he first half, but we ended up falling to a 2-1 defeat.
We came into the Belgian Cup in the fourth round, where we faced Aalst. A 2-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Cardon, saw us through to the next round.
The fifth round was our next game, and again we played away from home, but grabbed another win! Fondaire scored midway through the second half. We were heading for extra time until we were gifted a penalty in the eighty eighth minute, Gueye converted to secure our place in the sixth round.
Finally we got our first victory in the league this season. RC Mechelen were our opponents, Hakizimana scored just eleven minutes in. Colas doubled our advantage seven minutes later. Two second half penalty, both taken and scored by Gueye, ensured a comfortable 4-1 victory.

September 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/zgNA2KOdxmRsF1fnCOo1stVUXXkzFI6bx3BwBTxB.png

September saw us face a few easier games than last month, in which we started to pick up points. Turnhour saw us take a point home after a 2-2 draw. Lanslots and Elton turned around the deficit for us in the second half to take a hard earned point.
Seraing Utd were our next opponents, and a win on the board for us. John Elton scored with twenty minutes to play, a decent away win for us here!
A tough Eupen side were up next, and we gave them a good game. A converted penalty the only goal for us, scored by Gueye. However, it proved enough to provide us with a point, ending the game 1-1.
Dessel handed us our only defeat of the month, losing out 3-1. Again, our only goal came from the spot, scored again by Gueye!
The Belgian Cup sixth round saw us face Pro League side Waasland-Beveren. For the third game in a row we were given a penalty, and again, it was scored! Mutombo stepped up for this one. On the twenty minute mark, the hosts were reduced to ten men, giving us a real advantage. They fought back to 1-1 though, before Teirlnck fired us back ahead with time running out. A ninety third minute equalizer sent the game to extra-time, then penalties. We came out 4-3 winners after five penalties each! A terrific performance!
Heist, the other side promoted last season, were our final fixture of the month. A brace from Cardon saw us to a comfortable victory, rounding off a great month for us in the process!

November 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/w8zPLCFtDsRb6PKbPKeDc2avb7HsyDQM44IjHxkN.png

Our poor run of form continued as we faced league leaders Charleroi. A 3-1 defeat here, our only goal came from Lodders just before the break.
Roeselare were up next, and another defeat in this game. 2-0, not much to report on. We were easily beaten.
We did manage one win this month, beating Union SH at home. An eighth minute goal from Cardon wrapped the points up for us.
We ended on our third defeat of the month. Virton overcame us 2-1. Dahman found the net twenty minutes in to put us ahead, but a lead we couldn't hold!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/YDJZtofRD4nohWfkG5tVPrfh3qv7CEGitwIdPLFn.png

Another poor month sees us slip further down the table, and we're now only a point ahead of sixteenth placed FCV Dender, who also have a game in hand over us!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/A7Hyqk8Iy4tEUJZx9EH3tNfNfZSXFWONOFWQDmlh.png

It's clear once again that this club can offer me no more trophies in the near future, which is the whole point of this career, therefore, I felt it's time to step down from my post, and I'll be looking to move closer to home from here. Here's what's loaded, with several possibilities.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/eCtt0Qjb9Z7rqhq01t4EauBrWD74pbLeC8X2swHJ.png

So, here's the changes. Belgium, Croatia an Denmark will be completely removed from my game for the time being. All leagues from England, Iceland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Republic of Ireland will be loaded! I doubt my next move will be Iceland, but I'll be looking for a team with stable finances, and hopefully they'll be able to fund my next coaching course.

Accidently overwrote Octobers update, will not be replacing it.

November 2019

Whilst I was out of football, I managed to attract some international attention, nothing high profile though, which was expected. Panama came to me offering me a place to manage their national team. It's not something I'm interested in at this point in my career, so I swiftly declined the offer.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3T0WShF1tJF4zXofbmAmyZp3DGbCPQneRmZn7kx1.png

I applied for the Shamrock Rovers job next, as they were struggling early in the season. They offered an interview, but it seems I didn't do enough to convince them to take a gamble on me, a shame as I think it would have been a good opportunity!

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/wDk7uKJvEnXapfGMHdNkNtNzNtFTRW2M0uGGEd4y.png

Walsall, who find themselves top of League Two and managerless were my next target, with a view of getting a foothold into English management. Again I was offered an interview, which I obviously attended. However, it seems I wasn't the person they wanted to take the club forward, and I was rejected again.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/sDvylB1GQb6kaKUlGpe5y8YpCczSlD4s2W0ZZkDI.png

I had stopped applying for jobs for a bit whilst I waited for a nice offer to come up, but U.C.D then approached me. I almost declined without further though, as I know they're a poor team. Then I looked at the league table, they finished the season twelfth, yes that's bottom, of the Irish Premier Division, meaning they got relegated. That's where I saw a chance! Could I win the Irish First Division with them and take them straight back up? So I accepted their offer of an interview ...

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/qU4MnQsambEQ3Khk9FvH6S54MFpqsSx91cyTH7XQ.png

I was impressive enough in this interview, ultimately landing the job! So, we'll be playing in the Irish First Division next season. I'm hoping I can make a swift return with U.C.D to the Irish Premier Division! Let's see what next season holds!

Pre-Season 2020

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/uwtHXI4UrfmsNamUjUWaZODri9JDcYGB1bx9taSt.png

Just a few friendlies to get us into the swing of things after the break. As you can see they didn't go too well, but it was a chance for the side to learn my tactics, and get used to the way I want them to be playing. Lets just hope we can do better when were playing our competitive matches, otherwise we'll be in for a long season. However, we did play four tough games from our five games. We won only one pre-season, drawing once and losing the remaining three. Lets get the season underway ...

February 2020 - March 2020

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/b8fWrpLmmmjR0jujt7kTJQvsSVNox4AwKg73ns5L.png

We got the new season underway at home against Bray Wanderers, where we recorded an emphatic win despite falling behind after twelve mintues! Mohamed got us level three minutes later, then we waited for a dramatic second half. Belhour, Harkin and Cannon all scoring as we ran away with the game.
Drogheda Utd were our next opponents, and again, another four goals scored for us! Cannon scored within seconds, before going on to complete his hat-trick in less than half an hour. Harkin scored from the spot for us too.
Wexford Youths gave us a tough game, but only once we were already a goal to the good. Cannon again the scorer, leading us to the 1-0 victory.
We took the lead in the second half against Finn Harps thanks to Cannon, but the visitors bought it back level. Clarke restored our lead in stoppage time, wrapping up all three points!
We couldn't make it five wins from five though, Cobh Ramblers held us to a 1-1 draw. For the Cannon netted his seventh goal in five games here in the first half, but we couldn't defend the lead, leaving with just a point.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/TUO2qrHzMxUIbdbtLOVOrHo751hJaCpqM0NBL2qf.png

An impressive start sees us leading the way at the top of the table, closely followed by Cobh Ramblers in second, just one goal difference behind us, thanks to their tight defence. We're scoring plenty of goals, and should it continue, hopefully we can start to pull away at the top of the league!

April 2020

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/KTKiN3PXgS96d9dyaxASry3be6NoPp4dh68zhHG9.png

April started with our continuation of great form. We faced Shamrock Rovers B, and overcame them with a 3-1 victory. A brace in the second half from Belhout, and the other goal by Cannon sealed the victory for us.
Waterford Utd couldn't bring our run to an end either. Belhout on the scoresheet again in the second half, before Matthews snatched the points with a ninety second minute winner!
Another home game followed, and another victory. We had too much in the tank for Drogheda Utd, coming away with a 3-1 victory. Cannon scored twice in the final moments of the first half for us. Sloggett added our third to ensure there was no comeback from the visitors.
Finally, a strong Bray Wanderers team. Fortunately, we came out on top on this occasion. A brace from Harkin in the first half saw us past the visitors.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ZPWcyRfInv8gcwewOEDhWOfe8p1XZfGKyXZBKOfz.png

A perfect month now has us sitting five points ahead of Cobh Ramblers, as we look to bounce straight back to the Premier Division! If our form continues, we'll fly through the division as expected! But it's too early to be talking titles at this point with plenty of games left to play!
