Scorpio v2.1 for FM 2015

This skin is designed for 1920x1080 resolution. It should work with other resolutions but I don't test every single panel with every possible resolution. The skin has a small sidebar version and a DF11 facepack compatible version. If you're using a smaller resolution I'd recommend using the small sidebar version.

IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE POSTING!
If you have an issue please read the comments to see if it has already been fixed. Also make sure you have updated to the newest version.

I will NOT fix issues related to using different zoom levels. If you use any zoom level other than 100% you will have problems.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME A PM if it is about an issue you are having with the skin as it is much better if all issues are posted publicly so that other people with the same issue can see my reply.

Installation Instructions

Step 1

Download the skin. Make sure you delete any old Scorpio folders.

Step 2

Extract the files (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).

Move the folders inside into your skins folder:

Win Vista/7/8: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2015\skins
Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2015/skins

Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.

DO NOT COPY THE CONTENTS OF THE SMALL SIDEBAR AND DF11 FOLDERS INTO THE SCORPIO FOLDER

Step 3

Start the game and go to Preferences screen and Interface tab.
You should see "Scorpio”, "Scorpio (DF11)" and "Scorpio (Small Sidebar)” as options in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Choose the version you want.

Hit the Confirm button.

Great skin. I just have one question, how do i change the color that highlights the team you are managing? I want to change it to yellow. In the 1.6 version I change it by going to: Scorpio/settings and then open scorpio settings.xml in notepad and changed the line script under "misc" <colour name="human controlled" red="162" green="204" blue="243" /> 
In the 1.7 version I can't find this. (?)

Great work wannachupbrew.
I noticed in 1.7 version some problem with background selection. It keep switching back to default background and 10% transparency, after I was selecting mine to 40%. Don't know what the problem was but I copied background selector from 1.6 version and it works perfect now.

You need this line in your skin settings xml file (not the accent colours one):

I noticed that the transparency level resets every time you quit the game or reload the skin in preferences, bit of a annoyance, can you make it stick to the level that you pick? i keep setting mine to 70, and it defaults to 40 everytime.

You can only change it by modifying the xml files used by the background selector. The backgrounds and transaparency overlays are all loaded with the skin, but only one of each is set to be visible by default. You can change the visible option using the selector, but when the skin reloads, the default option will always come back and there isn't any way to make it remember the last choice (unless SI do something that allows us to modify things other than attribute colours)

Mine too,just downloaded 15.2 update and when you go to preferences now there is only 1 skin and thats football manager that comes with game,im not on mac

same here no skins.was playing a game with the Scorpio skin noticed there was an update,saved game did the update restarted game and there is only the original skin that can be used

Renamed the Scorpio.xml file to skin_config.xml and edited the first line (under skin name, author etc) inside the file to this: <string id="skin_name" value="Scorpio" />

Probably shows up the name also if the config file's name is Scorpio_config, but haven't tested yet :p

So inside the while you should have:

<string id="skin_name" value="Scorpio" />

The "name" will be the name you see on the list and the "skin_name" will be the name of the folder I believe. Works anyway.

Remember that if you are using DF11 or small sidepanel version you also need to do the same changes in those folders. The line you add to the config file should be <string id="skin_name" value="Scorpio (DF11)" /> in the DF11 config file and <string id="skin_name" value="Scorpio (Small Sidepanel)" /> in the Small Sidepanel config file.

delete the scorpio xml that's in scorpio folder then copy and paste new skin_config xml into folder
